with the unveiling of the new jw logo, and all of the emphasis placed on it , will the borg dare to put it on a flag?

People like their symbols.

I remember how bad I felt burning old Watchtower magazines.

I would think the JW logo could (has) become quickly sentimental.

The more they sharpen the rhetoric around shunning, the more they are tacitly acknowledging that there are reports of many active Witnesses who routinely ignore the instructions - but don't make a big deal out of it.

Exactly what I see happening here where I am.

they have sex this way (lol), they talk this way and etc.. are we excessively concerned with or critical of inconsequential.

Well they are where we learned to micro analyze everything from Greek verbs to words in the superlative, what holidays really mean and why you cant say God Bless when there is a sneeze etc etc etc.

So I would say that since they honed our senses, who better to use them on?

the leaks from the new november watchtower are alarming.

they will disturb even longtime jws who haven't surrendered all rational thought.

it's become so cult like its scary.

It looks like they are trying to go back to their roots.

JW.Org buttons have replaced sandwich board signs

Pictures of basement bunkers have replaced pictures of chasms opening up in the ground

Its almost like they are trying to do what worked originally to grow their numbers.

And it DID drive a lot of people away didnt it? But it coalesced the rest!

Nor to mention that disfellowshipped young people have not been judged from heaven.

Instead,

they are "judged" by 3 men with their own agenda, as evidenced by the fact that one may be disfellowshipped for something another (usually an elders kid) wont be even counseled for.

They wouldnt have to make such extreme examples if the compliance was good (that is the good news here).
