current update- the wife and i are separated.
i dont go to the meetings or in service but im not df, or da.
she is not budging.. problem- my wife has made it clear that she doesnt want me back unless i do all the witness stuff, i have even offered to attend meetings but not participate in commenting or go in service and this is not good enough.
Given time, she may cheat on you. That way you are free "scripturally" and you are not DFd.
Just depends on if you want to play the waiting game.

JWGoneBad - that is EXACTLY how I feel. Worse when I go and better when I dont. Can you believe there was a point where I thought the relief I felt when meetings were over was a good feeling about the meeting itself?

Oubliette - I have yet to see you miss it EVER. You always call it. I am in the beginning phases of exactly what you describe. People are starting to fall off in their enthusiasm in direct relation to how many meetings I missed.
I am an easy person to be around usually, so I am trying not to take losing "friends" too personally!!!

I am also a still in Witness who is stepping away as quietly as I can.
I appreciate you being here and I appreciate reading your thoughts, No one "viewpoint" owns this site, it is open to all.
At the same time, people are hurt and frustrated and that can be disconcerting . That is something I am still getting used to.
I liked your illustration and agree with it. It is much better when people use their perceptive powers and are encouraged to do so.

if the slave did not come into existence until 1919, then how was it possible that prior to 1919 that anyone knew that it existed, or would have been able to foretell that it would come into existence?.
