the similarities between jw's and mormons are staggering!

Also, from baptism (1971) to GB appointment (2005) it took him 34 years to rise to the top. That is an alarmingly short period of time for a convert who was 21 at his baptism.
He must have licked some serious ass to rise that quick.Isnt he the one from a rich family? Maybe that had something to do with it.

Fun at The WT This Morning

14 the question was, "what trust can a faithful christian whose relative is disfellowshipped have?".
after awhile when no one else raised their hands ofs did, and was called on.. ofs commented, "one of jw can have the trust that god will lovingly give them the ability to uphold the disfellowshipping arrangement by totally shunning family members.".

How are the JW's reacting to the new USA gay marriage laws?
by purrpurr inpersonally i think this is wonderful.
i have nothing against gay people and wish them only the best.. but of course i'm in a minority of one, the jw's around me are posting away on fb the most homophobic vitriol imaginable.
a lot of them are even saying that it's the start to armageddon!!.

In addition to being hypocrisy in action (as they are in so many areas) they wont read the decision. They wont know what you are stating above.
They call themselves politically neutral, "like Jesus and the early Christians" they say.
The facts show otherwise. JWs are one of the most litigious groups of non voting citizens of our time. Especially shocking when you look at what a "young" organization they are. They came out of the gate aggressively pursuing their "rights" as they see it.

We Lost Our Preaching MOJO, how do we get it back?

we use to cover our area in less than six months and now nobody really keeps track of how the preaching work by territory is going.
is the advent of the mobile-literature machine why we don't see a zealous preaching spirit?
