My thoughts on the RC 2015
by StarTrekAngel inhaving endured three days of dashing attempts at further indoctrination, i feel the need to write up some of the stuff i left with.
it is just good therapy.. right away the change was noticeable in the air.
the assembly hall in la feria, tx still smells like new.

JW's copied Mormons?

the similarities between jw's and mormons are staggering!
it's almost a carbon copy which only a few differences.. did the jw's set out to copy them i wonder?

How are the JW's reacting to the new USA gay marriage laws?
by purrpurr inpersonally i think this is wonderful.
i have nothing against gay people and wish them only the best.. but of course i'm in a minority of one, the jw's around me are posting away on fb the most homophobic vitriol imaginable.
a lot of them are even saying that it's the start to armageddon!!.

Now everyone is going to get to use everyone insurance plans and be entitled to each other pensions because they had sex with each other ?Well lets reverse that thought and see what we have....
should two people who have worked at jobs for 20 or 30 years not be able to have their pension work the same way as anyone elses?
Shouldnt what happens with a pension be based on years worked paying in to the system itself and not on type of genitalia?
Is that "more/less" fair?

i know you guys will be saying "yeah, obviously he is"...but we don't have any concrete evidence saying he has a mental condition.. has anyone ever dug a little deeper, perhaps try to find some people who would have known him from the army?
i mean, he probably doesn't know that many people, he was only serving for a year for christs sake.

Also, from baptism (1971) to GB appointment (2005) it took him 34 years to rise to the top. That is an alarmingly short period of time for a convert who was 21 at his baptism.
He must have licked some serious ass to rise that quick.Isnt he the one from a rich family? Maybe that had something to do with it.

Fun at The WT This Morning

14 the question was, "what trust can a faithful christian whose relative is disfellowshipped have?".
after awhile when no one else raised their hands ofs did, and was called on.. ofs commented, "one of jw can have the trust that god will lovingly give them the ability to uphold the disfellowshipping arrangement by totally shunning family members.".

Guess I said more than I should have about "the truth"

not to see how i was or why i have not been to meetings for the past months - she needed to borrow some money for the upcoming convention.
