  Gentile Times Reconsidered - Revised ed.

  i was checking on amazon.com the other day and i noticed that there was a revised edition of co jonsson's book "the gentile times reconsidered".

  i have the 1986 edition which is 228 pages long, but i've heard that the new edition is 360 pages long.

  can anyone who has this new edition enlighten me as to what new information is i this superb publication?

  Most religion's answer by saying, "The Lord needed her more than us", or some bullshit like that.
  Dubs say,"Jehovah will protect you", but if a dub dies doing their precious preaching work, they say, "..time & unforseen curcumstances..." lol

  dubs & all religions pracitce exclusivity & forms of shunning in some form, why?.

  the "tribal theory", as i call it, could explain some reasons why religions & other groups practice shunning.. the basic theory says: early man formed in groups for survival.

  these clans or tribes had need for a strong leader & any challange to that leadership, if not checked early, was a threat to the unity, & therefor, the survival of the group,the old "safety in numbers" thing.. to be put out of the group was tantamount to death.. i know this is nothing new, but any thoughts?

  Oprah and My Mother

  my mother just called...as she does 2-4 times a week to tell me that "you must watch oprah!

  " my mother is in chicago, where oprah is broadcast live.

  i live in est where oprah is on in the afternoon.

  sometimes i think back at all the people i helped "into the truth".

  all of those people now in the borg.

  all of those people now under its control.. one of my regrets in life.. anyone else here ever think about this?.

  I had one "bible study" when I first came in & he killed himself about 6 yrs. ago, poor guy. His name was Doug Grimm.

  So glad I was a "fence-rider" 99% of my dub years!

  Great way to get rid of salesman

  come to your door try this:.

  open the door quickly & say (in a loud & stern voice), "are you one of jehovah's witnesses?".

  the salesperson (after the inital shock)will gladly say, "oh, no, i'm not a jehovaha's witnesses!

  Open the door quickly & say (in a loud & stern voice), "Are you one of Jehovah's witnesses?"
  
  The salesperson (after the inital shock)will gladly say, "Oh, no, I'm not a Jehovaha's witnesses!" (thinking that you now will be releaved & listen to their sales-pitch), but at that instant you say,"Well then I'm not interested!" & slam the door on them.....funny as hell!
