  The Story Of The Middle East

  what follows below is an essay by american comedian/actor/writer larry miller that appeared in "the weekly standard" a few weeks ago.

  the essay has received a lot of attention, and last night larry was a guest on dennis miller's (american comedian/actor/writer, no relation) show on hbo cable tv.

  The Arab government leaders attack Israel to divert attention away from their GREED (oil money).
  The Arab muslim leaders do the same so they can keep in power, knowing that a modern society would throw them out quickly!

  The Jews call themselves "Gods chosen people" & add give Arabs & others reason to hate them.

  Its all RELIGION & GREED, just like the Borg, but if I had a choice, I would rather have Israel stay in power!

  Shaking Hands with Death - part 1

  shaking hands with death: the one common bond we all share, even jehovahs witnesses, is death ... it lurks in the back of the head ... and most people dont think about it more than they are forced to when a loved one dies.

  on monday, 5/28 i was forced against my will to meet mr. death, and have my first chat with him.. i would have expected to have profound and serious thoughts combined with the wise and sage advice of standing at the threshold of deaths door.

  what i found was something most unexpected ... something that altered my views of life and death, yet once again.. the heart attack: it was a pleasant noontime.

  Do You Really Want Reform, Or...

  ...do you want an end to the entire organization of jehovah's witnesses?.

  i'm guessing there is so much money involved, we couldn't hope to see an end to them, but that's what needs to happen imho.

  after all, jim and tammy faye bakker had lots of money associated with their church, and a theme park complete with hotels to boot and they're all gone.

  Why Are People Here So Disrespectful At Times?

  eu has noticed that a number of persons making up this forum are guilty of showing disrespect to jehovah's witnesses.

  some refer to jws as 'hovahs and others talk about kingdumb hells, all the time professing to follow christ.. some may justify their rude behavior by saying that jws themselves can be rude.

  even if the charge is true, and eu is not really convinced that it is, why cannot ex-jws rise above the fray?

  If someone called the Rev. Jim Jones a murderer, jerk, or whatever, would you get offended?
  David Koresh, is what, a prophet of God?

  The Watchtower is responsible for far more misery & death than the above examples & they are still at it!

  Besides, fact are facts,a dub is for "W", going to a Kingdumb Hall will not make one intelligent, & the Borg is a very accurate description of the pernoid, all-controling, society!

  My uncle sent me this article....

  well, as i've mentioned before, even though i am an ex-jw at heart, i am still forced to go to meetings and occasionally in field service due to my circumstances (live at home with parents).

  my time out in field service is pretty low, as i only spend like an hour a month out just to keep my family off my back, and that hour is usually one hour of rv with some poineers, so i can't remember the last time i actually really went out, or spoke to anyone at the door .

  i guess out of "spiritual" concern, by uncle sent me the following article a couple of weeks ago:.

  how about if we all plan a "peaceful" rally in front of the wts?.

  we could have on posters the names (maybe pictures) of the jw' & df-jw's who are pedophiles.

  the ones that have been df.. in addition the names of all of their victims, that we personally know.. how about having the victims present with pictures of the age when they were molested.. changes need to be done if at least a thousand of us show up!

  now, what will follow is a post from a 15 yo kid on silentlambs.

  you know, i rememeber feeling much like him.

  i think witties are getting the impression that we think they they as people are pedos......they don't realize the corruption that we're fighting is their leadership, and their outdated prejudices.. "not much more can be said that hasn't been said already...i'm just wondering, why are you, (or anyone else who is) so hateful toward jehovah's witnesses...i beleive that you are entitled to your own oppinion, and you are free to think what you want to think.
