Flower,
I was only 20 when I had Miranda, and man I became an instant MOM I gave up everything I enjoyed to become a mom 100% of the time, and made sure he had everything she wanted or needed. She was only 3 months when I got preggers with Tim man and my days were filled with "chores" with 2 of them I was so busy with them and loved every second of it. I like you had my heart set on them being the most well adjusted kids and bent over backwards so that they remained happy at all times. I loved them to pieces and often did not do things I wanted to do or buy things I didn't want to buy so they could have the cream off the top so to speak. When I was around 24 I was talking to a relative who was 12 or 13 at the time, and she said something that totally blew my mind and changed my perspective on life. She said, not her actual words but close...You are such a good mom, most mom's don't spend as much time with their kids as you do. But you are so young and act like you are 40 years old. You don't have any fun. It is like you don't enjoy life for yourself but you enjoy life for your kids.
Now IMO I enjoyed life and thought I was "fun" But I had to be honest with myself and realize that I was not selfish enough. I always put my kids first, in a sense I still do. But now I realize that in order for them to be completly happy I have to be happy too. I don't know why I shared that, I guess it was one of my defining moments and to be taught that lesson by a young girl was another kicker
You sound like you are such a good mom. And your son is first most in your life, that is wonderful! He will need that as he gets older and realizes how the rest of his JW family is. My kids are going through that now, with my JW family and it is so painful to watch them learn this lesson.
(((((Flower))))) Take care of you

WOO what a great thread!
Seeker,
I will def watch Joe Vs Volcano again, I have to admit to thinking it was the worst film I ever saw.Rummy,
I can't believe you said Running on Empty! That is one of my all time favorite movies. The love this family has for each other is so wonderful, and unconditional, something I never had. Truly one of my favorite movies. The acting is not so good, but I think that makes the movie seem more lifelike.Another good one is Violets are blue True chick flick, but any man I coerced into watching it with me loved it. Sissy Spacek is the lead actress, and I just love her.
Dave,
HAha I was thinking as I read the firs part of your list...that is why he is such an understanding guy Fisher King is a great movie, I watched it two times in a row.

Coolies we have more pics
Flower,
What a cutie pa tootie! SAve the embarrasing ones until he brings home his wife to be He may destroy them at 12 haha.Sadie,
Awww how sweet! Timmy was 3 in that pic maybe a bit younger he is almost 7 now. I have a few of my daughter too, I may post later. She loves baths! And I let her wear a bathing suit in too. for the times she is just there for swimming.Gil,
2 baths a day huh? But do you use soap? HAha Tim will get in, but I have to make sure he uses soap.Dana,
I know we are at the weird inspection stage now, he is so modest. What I started doing is making sure he uses soap, but then I figured out he was just wiping it on him so he would smell like soap hehe. So I sat with him a few times and made sure he was washing all the neccessary parts, after that, he has been pretty good, because I tell him I can come in at anytime and check him. As for your daughter haha too funny!Ashi,
You hit the nail on the head! The only time I worry is when he asks to take a bath, then I know he did something wrong, such as drawing on his legs or body, and wants to remove the evidence.Heaven
He splashes untill everything in bathroom is soaked. Yesterday he pulled the bath towels into the bathtub with him because he was cold and wanted to warm up.
HAHAHA that is cute! How can you get mad at that? The night this pic was taken we were in a huge hurry to go somewhere, and the last thing I wanted to do was dry out his shoes before we left. But with that grin, I had to laugh! The poem I made to go with it, matches my mood at the time it was taken. Thanks for the pics how cute! I will be back with one of Miranda.

Cello,
lol Actually a few months ago he took a shower and I went to check on him, since he is known to not wash all his 2000 parts He was completly dry! How a person can get into a shower and not get wet is truly a miracle. Is it only boys? Or are there some little girls who hate baths too?

Wt will Win case Before Supreme Court
by JT ini think the small time lawyer will be out gunned on this one- most small towns always end up passsing goofy laws like this one.
while i have no love for wt i do know a poorly written law when i see one exp when the mayor is walking around in affect saying: "ww want to keep you people out".
the boys in legal laugh when they see some elective dude say some off the cuff remark like that.

Either way they win. They can claim the old, "We are persecuted, thus we are god's real followers." What I find hysterical is that it has been over 3 weeks since they visited me, yet no RV yet. Hmmm I was really nice
There is a community in Lake County Florida, that is designated for retirees. It started out as a small retirement village then expanded to the point that it opened it's own post office and hired an emergency response company. They basically "stole" a piece of a county and made another town out of it. I am wondering due to the size of this town in Ohio if it is the same type of community. If it is I can see why they would ban together and make a decision like this. If it is this type of community as opposed to a normal town with all age groups, I do not mind one bit that they did this. I actually would support them.
Skally,
Honey, don't be fooled by the sex of a person. A pedophile can molest girls, and boys.

Hey sweetie
Wow! No wonder you put the keyboard up, you have been through much! I so understand what you are saying about your family's pain. I can take anything, but if my family or loved ones are hurting I come undone. I am sending some healing vibes your way now, and you will recover! Just make it so The skin cancer you have is very serious, and I hope you wil keep us informed on how you are. Come here if you want to vent about the many emotions you are going through if you want. Or you can email and vent there. Please don't try to make it through this all alone in your thoughts. I perceive that you do not want to share all of your fears with your family, I would be the same way. Yet it does help to have a 3rd party to bounce some stuff off. Contact me if you wish.((((((hugs)))))
