  this obviously is my first post, i actually feel like i may be sick but i felt compelled to post.

  only if to just say hello.. my life has been anything but boring, pioneered for years, brought several family members into "the truth", and find myself unable to have studies anylonger because i feel unsure about the stand i have taken all these years.. i was previously married, my husband left the organization for various reason, we divorced and i recently remarried another brother, he is a wonderful man and husband, i care for him deeply we and had been friends for 15 years.

  i also have a son from my first marriage who is 4, he is the love of my life, recently my son had an opertion that could require a blook transfusion and to be honest i could never deny him that.

  hi my name is alex and i was born in the truth and...i'm still in it.......i'm 15 and openly gay well at least at schooland to all my friends some who are also jw's well the reason for posting this is i wanted to knw if there were any other gay people here......if anyone wants to email me its [email protected].

  i want like advice on how i should deal with this cause sometimes i feel this oppression(dont knw if i spelled that right) on being gay and also being a j.w theres this i'm not sure how to explain it....like you knw that when people in your congregation find out the ones you know all ur life are going to hate u cause ur gay............this i guess just makes me feel really sad........ kind of hoping that this made some sorta sence.................... i suck at spelling so if i miss spelled something sorry@_@

  I'm not but I do respect them, I have a cousin which is and my JW wife hates it when I go and see him... This is so stupid how JWs try to convert them and if they dont change then they reject them, It is who you are... They must learn to accept them.

  in compliance with the terms of a settlement agreement, my information and research web site, http://quotes.watchtower.ca, is now "dark".

  the domain "watchtower.ca" has been transferred to wts (i assume they will have it pointing to borg.org watchtower.org asap).

  my copies of the site have been destroyed, the files deleted, and my wt library cd has been destroyed, in accordance with the settlement agreement which will afford a "discontinuance" of their suit against me.

  How Were You Affected By Elder/Ministerial Servants/Pioneer Appointments?

  were you ever affected by seeing a man or even a teenager being made a ministerial servant or a young man being appointed an elder-----knowing that the person is not really qualified?

  you could be thinking, "i can't believe he gets to be an elder when my husband (or brother or father or friend) is doing everything but headstands for the elders!

  " when such appointments were made did you see to it that you would not go to that person for direction or counsel?

  read this on another board about jws "telling on one another" .

  sad and pathetic to the point of being humourous .

  if things started to go wrong in the congregation (no increase in publishers/bible studies, teenagers playing up, contributions down) they would say jehovah was witholding his spirit from the congregation because someone must be sinning secretly and thus offending his spirit, and this is why the congregation wasn't flourishing.

  how often have i come to the kingdom hall for more of that great spiritual food and as i would greet others, and ask them how are you?

  they would mourn and grown and tell me its this system!...its this sytem..!

  they are obviously not happy about something and they blame it on this system.
