THIS IS A CALL TO ACTION. PLEASE READ.

Jehovah's Witnesses will be celebrating the Memorial of Jesus Death on Wednesday, April 12th. This event welcomes millions of former and inactive members. This is an almost compulsory ceremony for many who do not regularly attend meetings.

If you relate to any of the following, we urge you to participate anyway you can:

    • You are disfellowshipped or inactive and no longer go to meetings
    • You attend meetings but understand that the Watchtower Society is not "the Truth"
    • Jehovah's Witnesses consider you an "apostate"

    SEND A MESSAGE

Consider this a sophisticated form of guerilla protest and awareness campaign. The purpose is to protest the policies of Jehovah's Witnesses and educate the public about the hidden side of the Watchtower Society.

You can use Watchtower Money to do this. (Go to this link to see WT Money: http://www.dannyhaszard.com/pickets/WT$.htm ) Each bill or check is designed to get the attention of the beholder and quickly provide information.

    WHY THE MEMORIAL?

The Memorial is the one day that anyone can walk into a Kingdom Hall unnoticed. Attendance is usually more than double, new and long-lost faces are everywhere.

This is the easiest time to slip in before the program, deposit your choice of WT Money and leave. There is no need to stay for the program. WT Money can also be left in the hall itself for someone to find. We recommend leaving in bathroom, library room or other location where the person discovering it will be in private.

All of this can be done anonymously and without notice. (Phone your local hall for specific times and locations.)

    NOT WILLING TO ATTEND?

If you are not able or willing to go to the Memorial, please download your choice of WT Money and mail it to JW headquarters. Send it in time for the Memorial so that a coordinated impact is made.

If nothing else, please promote this idea to others you think would appreciate and participate. Comment on this thread. Email this link. Keep this subject alive until the 12th of April.

    WHAT'S THE POINT?

The Watchtower Society is very aware that it is hemorrhaging members. This is due, in large part, to the exposure of Watchtower inconsistencies and cover-ups on the Internet. In fact, the Watchtower Society has begun a frontal attack on websites that quote WT publications.

This is an information war. Nothing worries the Society more than the idea of their members Googling "Jehovah's Witnesses".

By sending mock money in a widespread and coordinated manner, we let the Society know that we know. You also make a statement to the Watchtower money collectors. Send a tremor through Bethel.

You pick the most important topic to you: child abuse, UN NGO membership, blood, information control on the web, or the occultist roots of Russell's cult. Print the "Zero Dollar" with your choice of seven different JW websites.

    Thank you for your participation.

It would probably have a bigger psychological impact if the WT money/checks were sent to local halls. Maybe send them to both HQ and the local halls.

What about mailing them to individual JWs that you know? I'm only suggesting this because depositing the phony cheques in the Contribution Boxes™ is only going to make a statement to the Accounts Servant™ in the Congregation™ and perhaps one other person assisting him. They will not be forwarded to the WTS, they'll just be thrown away and discarded as Apostate™ information.

If you mail JUST the cheques, by the time the JW to whom it is being sent has received it, opened it and realized what it is, they will have read just enough Apostate™ information to pique their curiosity.

    Just a thought.

Am I the only one who sees this as EXTREMELY childish?

Scully, I think your idea has merit, except for one problem. All the JWs I know are assholes, and I feel no desire to assist in their liberation. As long as they remain JWs they will continue to shun me stay out of my face.

Ok, I'll give my JW database a look and see if there's anyone I'd like to see out.

Some might say that spoiling your ballot at an election is a childish form of protest/boycott too.

How will anyone know that there are people who are boycotting the WTS by refusing to give donations to them, unless someone tells them? This is just a way to inform the WTS that there are people who are boycotting them, conscientiously objecting to WTS actions. They already see their numbers dwindling - this is a way to tell them WHY the numbers are dwindling.
