  Thumbs up to Brenda... I think what she did is good, it did show how stupid this memorial partaking is useless. I wish I had the balls and guts to do it, I admire that.

  Anybody attended the Memorial last night? What was your experience?

  for the first time in a year i set foot on a kh.

  the memorial to me is still somewhat sacred so i decided to attend.

  i thought i would feel different, in the sense that maybe i would miss meetings, but i was wrong.

  JWs and Gambling

  i've been inactive for a while and i can't remember the jws stance on gambling.

  i'm kinda big into poker now and i want to know what to expect if i'm televised or spotted in a public tournament.

  is it a disfellowshipping offense, public reproof offense, or conscious decision?

  this old book is a little weather-beaten but may still serve for some information purposes.

  many researchers wanted this book for the "charts" as well as other important quotes, that could be used in helping jehovah's witnesses to become free from the watchtower.

  How did you hide things?

  for those of you who had some evil in you, how did you hide the things that you didn't want your parents or fellow jws to find?.

  i used to hide porn magazines under the carpet in my bedroom, and i had a gutted vcr that i used to hide my rap tapes (along with other things i can't remember).

  Yes I too had the briefcase thing, but also hid stuff in the crawl space between the ceiling and hanging ceiling in the basement.

  Cheap-ass Watchtower tapes!

  i recieved 4 tapes of kingdom melodies from lee (thanks lee!

  ) so, i shoved one into my tape deck so i could hear "stay awake, stand firm, grow mighty" for the first time in ten years (man, that sounds like a song about my penis).

  however, i discovered that the pressure pads have gotten crusty and fell out of two of these tapes, and the cheap bastards at watchtower didn't put screws in their tapes so i could easily fix them!

  wow, i'm asking elders for advice, how strange.

  anyway if you want to know my history and where i am look at my first 1/2 dozen or so posts, it'll bring you up to speed.

  I did the depression fade and it works so far as I've been doing it for about a year, it works well, I get them so down with my medical and how everything in life is depressing that they leave me alone, I got their visit only once and I get along with my life. Its a great way to fade and it won't get you DF'd.
