  my sister sent me this text a few minutes ago.

  what does she know about my relationship with jehovah?

  it was followed up by a bunch of links to jw org problem is dialog is not possible her side is the only one to be heard.

  All the congregations received a special document entitled "Productive Use of Time" from the branch. A digital copy of this was sent to all the publishers. Under the section, "Encourage one another" there were instructions to reach out to inactive witnesses. This is what it exactly says,

  "Send an upbuilding message to an inactive relative or friend"

  It didn't say you could send an upbuilding message to a disfellowshipped relative or friend. If you want to make your sister mad you could tell her she violated the organization's rules if you are disfellowshipped Brainfloss.

  Another thing they put in that category was to "Get better acquainted with coworkers". This is kind of strange because it violates their "bad association spoils useful habits" and not to be friends of the world. Their letting some things slide.

  the bible says this - acts 17:11 “...for they [the beroeans] accepted the word with the greatest eagerness of mind, carefully examining the scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.”.

  km 9/07 p. 3 question box - does “the faithful and discreet slave” endorse independent groups of witnesses who meet together to engage in scriptural research...?.

  and yet, in various parts of the world, a few associates of our organization have formed groups to do independent research on bible-related subjects... some have pursued an independent group study...so as to analyze the accuracy* of the new world translation... for those who wish to do extra bible study and research, we recommend that they explore insight on the scriptures, “all scripture is inspired of god and beneficial,” and our other publications...” .

  There are 1000's of sects of Christianity. Nothing proves that WT is God's chosen channel. Supernatural events showed God was backing Moses. Supernatural events showed God was backing Jesus. No supernatural events backed any christian sect, except with the first apostles. That means God doesn't care which sect you follow as long as you follow the basic tenets of the faith with Jesus as the primary leader, second to his father. Jesus said, "where there are two or more, I am with you".

  There are so many new things I have learned by reading the bible without WT crutches. I know if I speak any new found understanding to those in the hall I will be DF'd for apostasy. It reminds me of what happened to Galileo when he wanted to tell the world the earth revolved around the sun, not the other way around. The church leaders accused Galileo of heresy because of their ignorance of the bible. He was not allowed to speak of that scientific truth again and he was put under house arrest for the rest of his life. That my friends is when a church has reached its evil oppressive state. The WT and many other sects are in the same boat because they have obstructed the holy spirit.

  Keeping everyone on the hook

  i’ve always noticed that the local jw leaders like to give as little notice as possible for local meetings and expect you to drop everything and rearrange your life to fit their agenda in.

  i’ve noticed this more during the pandemic.

  we are not given the codes and time of memorial until a couple hours before meeting.

  They know there are moles within a number of congregations throughout the US. When they first used zoom a link was sent out to all the publishers. Everything seemed fine for the first week. Then on the next Saturday night they sent out a new link saying not to share it with anyone outside the congregation.Then a few days before the Sunday talk prior to the memorial they said there will be a new link, a password and a need to make sure your zoom name is one recognized by the congregation. What that last item meant was that you had to be on zoom 30 minutes before the meeting and the host of the zoom meeting would let you in once he recognized your name. No unrecognized names would be allowed into any of the meetings. The public talk is no longer for the public.

  I've been watching the zoom meetings and the speaker said the attendance is superior to the actual kingdom hall attendance. He even said people are back that stopped attending the meetings at the hall in the past. This pandemic is scaring everyone back to the meetings.

  They are still drilling that everyone needs to go out in service by joining zoom meeting field service groups with letter writing and phone witnessing. They also made a reminder to turn in your field service time for March. That is the most important thing in JW land. The reporting of service time must never stop!

  "This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth." - A command only directed to the anointed, they say but the other sheep have to do it because they said so.

  "Eat of this bread and drink of this wine...keep doing this in remembrance of me." - A command only directed to the anointed, they say and so they refuse to extend this invitation to the other sheep because they say so.

  I've heard a number of witnesses quietly complain about certain stupid doctrines that need to be changed due to glaring errors as you pointed out.

  I have to stay in due to family ties. Sometimes it makes me so mad about the Borg mentality. They just parrot the drone queen-mother. They don't have individual spirituality of which they're supposed to have.

  I'm just going stand idle like David and wait for Saul aka JW.org-Mother to be taken out at the right time.

  this morning my wife made the comment ... "we'll probably experience famine next.".

  i don't know that she'd come up with this on her own.

  has anyone else heard a jw talking about this?.

  If she thinks famine is supposed to happen next with the four horsemen of the apocalypse then when did the first two horses come?

  Maybe they now think the first white horse is the corona virus. Here's my funny take trying to make something fit. The white horse represents the doctor lab coats. The crown on the guy is Corona, which means crown and the bow is the means for sending out the virus all over the world.

  I think they still believe the first rider is Jesus.

  I have no clue how the red horse, number 2, fits in all this. By the way, the third horse is black and that is associated with famine in revelation.

  - economy with all the stand still corporations, people without work and mass injections of support money?.

  - politics with the end of globalisation, closed borders and new geopolitic friends (italy / china russia), lack of support and working together in eu and local politics, did the current politician the right thing?.

  EU's push for Globalism just got whacked over the head with a big club after this COVID19 pandemic. Everyone is going back to Protectionism. The EU needs a miracle to save face and get a new and better image for their Global agenda.
