  first contradiction in the bible?

  contradiction without the use of an outside medium (such as archaeology, fossil study).

  i just stumbled on this after reading the thread about adam and the sexual subliminal message.

  i was thinking about adam and eve and chronology, and a contradiction popped up in my head...so i picked up the bible and there it is.. gen 1:27 - god creates adam and eve, tells them to be fruitful.. gen 2:18 - now adam is alone?

  How do you make a living?

  since most of us believed it was right around the corner, how many of you went to any secondary schools or training?

  what do you do now to survive?

  are you working or unemployed?

  Left school at 15 and went to full time work in a hotel as a chef. Worked 5 days a week and one day i went to college to qet qualifications and had one day off. Did that for 3 years, And got qualified. Traveled from Guernseu Channel islands to UK, worked all over UK, now in NZ.

  Unemplyed because awaiting my visa! when and if its approved i have a job working for the mayor of Taranaki in his hotel.

  Been cheffing for 9 years now.

  i have a sincere question for you.. what do you mean when you sign off each of your posts with "a slave of christ"?.

  i do not remember christ asking us to be his slave.

  Proverbs 4:18 vs Matthew 24:45-47

  why is it that when former witnesses look at the society's pre-1919 teachings that were not true we conclude that they mean that the society is not god's organization, but when current witnesses look at those same teachings they conclude that they mean it is god's organization?

  what makes the difference?.

  i feel that one of the factors that makes the difference is because while ex-witnesses process those pre-1919 teachings through matthew 24:45-47, witnesses process them through proverbs 4:18.. take for example rutherford's "millions now living will never die!"...

  Man, how many times have we heard this.

  It just like satans first lie, telling eve that she surely will not die, and its being carried on by the JWs right through to today. Its satans run org maybe?

  nah, its all BS!

  Just look at them without blinking at all when they next knock on your door, smirk in a sly way, quietly whisper is a Clear tone, "im the devil" then look back at them with dilated pupils.

  when you show a jw the fallacy of their organization (on the rare occasion they don't get the forcefield up in time), they'll retort with something as assinine as.

  What happened was, The police shot a Gang member (suspected) for whatever reason, and it escalated from there. There were protests from people about this, which then went further to looting which then went further to fires and riot police which then led further to homes being burnt down and women having to jump out their top story windows.
