ok ill try and map it out

issue is that joke A. emphasizes all the ways a woman becomes invalid as she ages but a man will always be ruled by sex.

so if no one wants to "have at" a woman who is past her "prime" then tell me who does the man who is always after sex then go after? (not all men are like this but im going with the inference posted) but really do you support the idea that as you age you will be replace with a younger model because all you are is the sum of your total physical fleshy parts? look at that joke again and just try and justify that that underlying inisinuations are not just THAT. we are not making fun of short people here . the issue is much deeper than that. you dont even realize how your own language and self-image is poisoned. "self - help" find some - and be whole ..

and.. a woman suffers damage?(why is ageing damage? explain this to me please) but no mention of the damage a man suffers as he ages like balding and back hair and constant issues over never owning a good enought "insert hot car here " (to embrace a stereotype)..

but he will seek out the chica who has less damage?

I dont understand why it's funny to put yourself in this role. maybe i could have presented it better but wow.. it's so sad and well, frustrating to see someone willingly degrade themselves and hate themselves like that.

really we need to question why it is we believe what we do. some unchallenged beliefs harbor so many fallacies that can compromise the quality of life. its very disturbing.

you are all whacked ! men and women are all of the above or not at all. fuel another terrible stereotype why dontchya! Men are not just ruled by their dick and women LOVE sex and what are implying exactly that we are OBJECTS? get a grip!

Youth culture OUT - Sentient beings in all life spans in! Give a little more respect to yourselves than just looking at your self for your aging flesh unless that's all you think you are!

Don't let yourselves buy into the fact that as you age you become less and less valid. You at 70 are the living wisdom(vs. say books) of the next generation - so love yourself and your body (for all you know it's the only one you will ever have and all aspects of life should be regarded with reverence. Why waste the only time your sure you'll ever have by devaluing so much of your life span!!! Peace!

note: due to the complexity and difficulty level of their contents, each course will accept a maximum of 8 participants each.

I personally tend to fall into a lot of these catagories as a female.Classification of this sort by gender is just a myth!

 I thought we had moved way past that by now.../boggle. It's personality not gender... that determines who we are...

 Generalizations of this type really effect the quality of people's lives. Humor or not I just don't want to hear it..

We are so much more than the out dated judgmental standards placed on us. The boys have a point... implyinjg that they are

insensitive selfish spoiled brats is just as bad as them calling you an overemotional pmsN bitch. It's uncalled for

 and a downright lie in most instances. If you have someone like that in your life im sorry

 (and i'd personally be kickN his/her arse).

 but i know plenty of men and women who fit the bill on both the stereotypical "men and women identification lists".

 It's just so sad that we choose to segregate ourselves this way. If a man or a woman is being selfish or ignorant with you then

callthem on it and if it doesnt change - don't fuel the myth.. get out! Plenty of people out there for you! (and when it's a minor issue

not worth leavN for - then remember it's personality all the way! hamper? what's that?

How can we expect to have true friendships and healthy lives with such barriers! Again it's personality and not gender.

I am sorry to use this as a platform but - if we don't start embracing the fact that the myth

has been "debunked" then we just take the generalization and embrace it as truth - it happens toooo much!

It's good to question why it is you believe what you do... you often find a lot of fallicies in your reasoning!

you are sooo right on with that one. All aspects of christianity teach such intollerance, and oppresion as if the female is "sub human" and they justify it by saying we "earned it"

In my opinion Eve (cutie that she is) was the first philosopher using the reason of her "rational mind" and instinctual flesh" that she was made with - exploring her world! Honestly, why be made with a reasoning mind just to supress it? (oh blaspheme)

My sore point with the story ever since i was a wee pup , was that "Adam" (being older and knowing better) knew exactly what he was doing and mentioned it before hand ... he blamed it on EVE like a spoiled child and what's more God bought it. So then Evie recieves the worst punishment.

What would we do to our older son's and daughter's who gave this line of reasoning about thier siblings? uh huh , i know you hear me.

I think this sounds so irrational! So, my theory is someone *edited* the bible and god (opps capitol G) is waiting for us all to "catch on" I say we reverse the roles and the punishment starting with "wild turkey"

When it's being used as an insult, "bitch" is most often hurled at women who speak their minds, who have opinions and don't shy away from expressing them. If being an outspoken woman means being a bitch, we'll take that as a compliment, thanks.

Furthermore, if we take it as a compliment, it loses its power to hurt us. And if we can get people thinking about what they're saying when they use the word, that's even better.

And, last but certainly not least, "bitch" describes all at once who we are when we speak up, what it is we're too worked up over to be quiet about, and the act of making ourselves heard.

So, keep speaking and Continue to know it is your right to be heard next to your brothers and we will all then make the world a more complete and livable place,

Well, from examining your post with a keen eye I have observed a very bitter and frustrated individual. You would benefit from some self - introspection and some counseling.

Lets see... first You might consider finding someone who is more like you , the very idea your frustrated with how long she takes to get ready means you should have someone a bit more earthy. If you don't like the look of an earthy girl then your just impatient and selfish and my suggestion is learn how to entertain yourself. heeeee

On further examination - Your complaints are so absolutely trivial (no offense - but trust me) that it can only mean one thing. It means you both have deep harbored resentments for eachother that you have not worked out. There are huge knots between you and you both display the inability to confront and solve issues, (It's as obvious as an atom bomb explosion). But confronting and solving isn't so easy when it involves things that make us feel vulnerable (especially with someone who you don't trust so much anymore). It's very human to feel frustrated and take out your frustrations on safe "subjects" like being lazy - when you really have something else to say. You could both use counseling. If your not into that perhaps the time for your relationship is done . It looks like there is little love lost between you anyway at this point. And it's true sometimes things go on too long.

PMS well, that made me laugh very VERY hard. Seems men will use PMS to blow off their woman's feelings and YOU sir are being avoided and blown off by the excuse of PMS. Sometimes I like to refer to it as "Putting up with a Man Syndrome" <winks>. (I'm not into stereotypes -im just yankN your chain. I think that men are insensitive and women are too sensitive is as laughable as women can't do math)

Anyway - if you really attract women who frustrate you in this and many other ways on a regular basis my guess is that is NOT gender but rather the type of person you are attracted to. That is where introspection and counseling come in.Counseling doesn't fix you or change you but it does present you with a variety of tools to apply to yourself and theworld that you might have picked up unless you took a sh*tload of psy or philosophy courses. Lets face it, we need to be born with a pamphlet on love life the universe and everything.. Counseling can provide you with those tools (people who know people like some people know cars.. yknow?) and give you some well - earned venting room where you wont be judged or the butt of jokes with your friends.

<taps her lips>hrmm where was I? Oh yes, Have you asked your self why after trying to confront and solve issues and then they wont stick or don't get solved that you stay only to become more frustrated in return?? or that you keep trying the same methods that don't work over an over again? Or why it is your attracted to the same kind of person?

Trust me your complaints are male and female complaints. Gender has nothing to do with it - I have seen women put "Prick" in the tile bar and rattle of your issues dozens of times.

so counseling, getting to know yourself and the habits that keep tripping you up in life will help you a lot. Please keep in mind im not putting you down ...what your explaining is soo human. Every person alive has issues with truly being upfront and knowing when to draw the line. We all want to be loved and respected and sometimes that's just not so easy =)

I think you misunderstood what i was saying in my post. i was contrasting your moral view with Utopian reforms moral view.

I do , however, have specific questions that is would be great if you answerd them directly (you touched on them yes) to give us insight to your moral frame of reference (id like everyone's opinon actually). I'm not only asking what "what do we do with those who torture children" but "why does it happen?" And how do you personally account for evil in the world? what is the definition of evil?

Also, I find it a little bit of a stretch to lump in and adulturer - an oath-breaker - a liar - with a person who tortures a child. Children are the only pure visage of innocence and vulnerability we can possibly know and to find it in your heart - to embrace that rift of madness and give in or act on such demonstrations of obsenity - well - that is evil.

Not that oath breakers aren't a certain level of evil. Well, then again an oath-breaker is more a person who lacks temperence, who lacks will.

but look at what your comparing here - id go back and absorb the details of that article again. That - is - EVIL.

Now, This is not a case that is limited to the Jehovah's witness regime.This is a common everyday occurance with any Zealot and with any agnostic or sanctimonious human being.

So, when we look into the face of such dimensia- such bold faced evil. Because what could be more evil than the torture of a child. I don't think anyone here would say that this case is otherwise.

How do we account for evil? Is evil the punishment as St.Augustine( agreat writer if not a saint - who knows) said - the punishment for origonal sin - And, those of us who are redeemed at judgment day will pass on and those who are not fully redeemed will cease to exist?
This was the way he could justify the blatent suffering in the world.Including the suffering of children. The world was our punishment - or the begining of it.

Or is it the law of opposites. A positive force and a negative force clashing to create a balance. And what we live in today is an imbalance?

Can we really fight this kind of insanity? What causes it? Can you come back from that, as Mommy seems to suggest. That you can learn a lesson from that and be redeemed? Or is it already to late and you should be killed like Utopian reform suggests?

At what point in the human mind does madness drive a permanent rift through our reasoning capabilities?

Or, are some of us truly evil? Truly blackend. Part of the "pair of opposites". The negative force.

What is the nature of this reality we live in that things like this occur.

All through time - Priests, historians, philosophers, simple good folk minds, have wrestled with these questions. So, i ask you, as i am moved to such dispair by this story, to give me your insights here - so that we can learn from eachother and gain some more understanding with in our own limited frames of reference.
