i am new here was born and raised in the "truth" was disfellowshipped in the eighties (my choice) i was wondering if any one could tell me who pays for this web site and who looks after it?.

This is a Maternity ward for those being"resurrected from a "boxed in religion" COFFIN!

The Dr in charge is Simon,his helper ( nurse )is Anghard

.It has saved many who was following a false prophet,who have lost family,friends,
it is the ward room where we open our eyes & KNOW we can THINK for ourselves.

It is the place where we can show LOVE & Concern for others who were treated

badly by that wicked shepherd >The WT,who beat his slaves ..The DR Simon dont push
HIS beliefs on those he opened the eyes too.

Making a Last Will and testament for ex JWs

so you survived the wts upbringing and despite a bad start managed to put your life back together and plan for the future:.

pension planning and general finance for ex-jws.

sadly, you may find yourself still at a disadvantage as you lack the support group of friends and family that many rely on and could be cut-off even from immediate family.. but it can't get any worse can it?.

Excellent advice Simon.... I did mine... But I did leave some of it to my JW daughter.I made her a JW

I am responsible for the life she is living. No she dont have anything to do with me.But I still love her.
I do feel guilty for convincing her to believe all I taught her...I was so stupid,believed it all,
But I think your advice is very timely.....My Thanks to you & Angie. for all you do

I know I have said it before but for the newbies on here.Look at parakeets picture.
When I was a JW I had a bird JUST like it.I taught it to say."Jehovah" Armegeddons coming," stupid susie"

"Toby,Toby!" Susie is my daughter ( she left the WT thank God.) Toby was the dog that the girl that studied
with me used to bring to the study, Of course I would bring my neighbours in to listen to the bird.
Yes I counted time for those who listened....My sister-in-law( a Catholic) became a JW ,so the little bird
will get a resurrection ( wink wink)

Lawsuit maybe?

i would love to file an emotional distress lawsuit of some sort against the wt.

since my husbands return envolvement 2 years ago my documented mental health problems have gotten steadly worse.

this past weekend i started drinking after 17 years sober, a sucicide attempt that put me in a private psych hosiptal.

Yes I think since we are not face to face. We must be tender with our advice.
We dont know the state of the one we are giving advice too.

i would love to file an emotional distress lawsuit of some sort against the wt.

since my husbands return envolvement 2 years ago my documented mental health problems have gotten steadly worse.

this past weekend i started drinking after 17 years sober, a sucicide attempt that put me in a private psych hosiptal.

BUT> I dont think it would be any good to sue the WT .I went to Vicky Boers
court case, & their lawyers LIE!!!! The Faithful & Discreet Slave( the wt) are told

they do NOT have to tell the truth to those who dont deserve it.(Anyone that is NOT a JW dont deserve it)

Glen Howe was one of their Lawyers,( since died) But he was a BRILLIANT lawyer who KNEW
he didnt tell the truth...

Just keep on loving the hubby show him TRUE love

Oh my darling I was so sorry to read this.... I know it is hard to exit the WT without some back lash
But drinking isnt going to help. As You know I am MOUTHY, & say what I think You also know I am 86
so figure I am talking to you like a GRANNY! I know you feel so down but suicide is NOT the answer
So here is all I can do for you sweetie. Dont get angry at me. PLEASE!!!!

whats the point of this site?

i hope and think to inform and educate, to save lifes and be a refuge to those lost and confused.. i like las58 his crazy and sometimes makes deep points, so i like the diverse expression of members and freedom of voice.... but i hate the internet and how it takes your identity away...facebook and path for example i think exist only to extract every bit of information of who i am and then i am turned in a target for advertisers...worse they want all the details of my friends...now i think the world would be better with out advertising but i am wearing a shirt advertising a bank and a toyota cars and now i am selling toyota cars with this post.. damn you advertisers, you destroy all that is sacred ...even this site has advertising.....if we could abort advertising would the world be a better place?.
