  Ya'll dont believe in God?

  i have to ask this although i have a feeling i dont really want to read the responses but anyway.

  i talked to several people here today who dont believe there is a god at all.

  this is disturbing!

  I thoughtTyyDyys response was just how I feel. I am a believer>
  I believe Jesus is MY saviour. I went through many religions
  after getting "ousted" came to the conclusion that I cannot accept "religion" but I do have a relationship. I talk to God & His Son Jesus& the HOLY SPirit. I do read scripture at times, but what convinces me of a Creator?i look out my window & see red/blue/
  black birds- I watch a baby- I look at my artist friend sit for days painting a picture- Yet she never can get it Quite like the real thing. Can Athiests, trinitarians, Non trinty believers get along. come to our group... we have em all. even a witch at one time
  we laugh cry together, DONT Judge each other....Since MY belief is GOD IS LOVE I guess I have to believe he joins us in the group.
  But it is UNCONDITIONAL LOVE<

  i just happened to glance a the date as i was posting 2-13-02. one day before valentines day.

  i realized that i don't have a valentine.

  i subscribe to the idea that it is better to be alone and wish you were with someone than be with someone and wish you were alone.

  Nic .Thanks for taking the time to share your regret. So happy you have been able to bridge the gap.i think often of the many,many lives they have destroyed. I too have a daughter & grandchildren who are afraid to speak to me.,What is the scripture? ( True love throws fear outside)!!Pity they havent found that Love- You did. God Bless

  and now there is a debate between my father and his sister whether there should be a memorial service at the kingdom hall.. is there a rule whereby an elder who gives a memorial service at a kingdom hall must use the society's outline?

  because my father and my grandmother have made it quite clear that he under no circumstances do they want that.

  (i'm very blessed to have jw family who do not shun me even with the long hair (yes it is growing back), earring, and, oh yeah, disfellowshipment).

  today is my birthday, born in 1936. that makes me 66. i can hardly beleive it.

  i'm still in good health but know it's just a short run until something does me in.

  i'm really thankful for the great life i've enjoyed, no real problems that i consider serious.

  inspired by district overbeer valis and his smurf sticker contest, i decided to up the ante and announce a song contest for all you so inclined to play.. what i have in mind is this: take any recorded song you like, even the dreaded jw kingdom songs, and redub them to something much more fun!.

  if you have a cool bastardized song (well that is what valis says it is called when you do this) then we can try it out at some of the apostofests that seem to be popping up like crazy all over!.
