  WT6-15-02 ?from readers-funerals for suicides

  the question was this: "if someone committs suicide, would it be advisable for a christain minister to give the funeral talk?

  " ((((((((((((me barfing already here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!))))))))))).

  here are some sick , literally made me feel my blood pressure about to explode , remarks:.

  I remember when a Brother in Montreal killed himself by putting a bullet in his mouth,He had worked with me at a wedding ( serving) a few days before- He was a bank manager.He had shared with me how dispondent he was with the Brothers & Sisters...He said they get into such vast debt- because they think they wont have to pay it back( this was before 1975)Then when the Credit Office gets after them- they come crying to me for a loan-I have to manipulate their forms so I can get it for them( He really wanted to help his brothers???& sisters???)

  Well when he killed himself -the elders gave the funeral talk in a funeral parlour- But tried to make out it was the mafia that killed him!!!!!!! Just passed it around as a rumor----Well you all KNOW JWs DONT gossip((((WHAT??)Well it didnt take long for it to get all over Montreal. Persecution had started!!!!! I knew better- He has said--I cant take it much longer.....Wish I had said something to help.I didnt !!! Just "Well Armeggedons coming.....

  Very Bad News Re: Post Yesterday

  i'm not sure how to put this news gently to the community here, but regarding my post yesterday regarding chantelle.. thankyou for all of your kind messages and warmth displayed on your parts.. chantelle was only 16 when disfellowshipped.

  only 18 years old with her whole life in front of her.

  she took her own life this morning at 0400hrs.. i am so sorry not to have been in a better position to get your letters to her in time.. take care all of you & kindest regards.

  Celtic. Adele,Mark. What can I say but my deepest sympathy.She is at peace now-If any from the Borg reads this post.....YOU! just by being in that Organization! are partly responsible for stealing her soul.Get out from among them!!!!!!

  The desire to return just for family's sake

  those of you who have close witness family members -- how hard has it been not to just throw up your hands and just return to the society, just for appearance's sake?

  my parents, whom i love very much, are witnesses, and it's very difficult for me to go day to day knowing that i'm completely letting them down.

  i no longer believe anything the society says, but oh how tempting it would be to just go back and fake my way through, knowing that i could give my parents peace.

  Just to add to Teejay comment-I was baptised over 21 years-If they would have said "drink the cool-aid "I would have.I was in Montreal- where the Police used to stop us often.I went through two NO blood surgerys, My husband used to beat me( cos he said it was a cult- what did HE know?)

  But I was a "dyed in the wool"JW.I always say now- It was if the organization was a dirty head of hair-I was a little nit- & the Lord pulled me out kicking & screaming all the way...& I am now FLEA!!!

  excuse me I mean FREE!!!!! If it can happen to me-it can happen to your Folks!!!!!

  sorry i've been away for a few weeks.

  you may remember seeing a post from me talking about apendixes and then i disappeared for a while.

  long story short, my appendix was about to pop (thank dad it didn't), i got it taken out, came home from the hospital a few days later, and then the area where the surgeon cut me open got very, very, very infected.

  Funkyderek!! Amen to that. I believe if you want to go back GO! I considered it when I was first out- thinking I loved my kids so much ( they were still IN) But I will tell you I have never been happier than I am now- I may have lost my own flesh & blood whom I do love- but I have so many EX JWs that truly love me-SO MANY----I feel a bit like job I lost some & gained some....

  As to the parakeet.Get a load of this. When I was a JW I taught mine to say JEHOVAH!

  ARMEGGEDONS COMING!!! Stupid Susie!!!! I used to bring the neighbours in to hear it ( well I could count time couldnt I)?Then one day I stepped on it( I used to let them lose at times) I killed it.....

  I cried for days.... But the neighbour downstairs heard me screaming & asked my daughter why-She told her....A day later I heard her talking to my other neighbour ( who I had let them all hear the bird)

  She said "did you hear the news?" The other one replied "NO"

  Well said the first neighbour "Armeggedon came"""!!! With shouts of laughter......Now it is funny

  but at the time it wasnt- I loved that bird. I used to say "every living thing will call on the name of

  Jehovah!!!! "

  Urgent Assistance Required by Anyone, Ladylee?

  hiya!!

  hope you all had a super marvellous weekend just gone, spent some of my time saturday and sunday, just floating quietly on my boat on the quiet and serenely beautiful waters of the helford river's creeks, stunningly beautiful it was, wow!!

  came into work this morning, monday, as bright as a button, though straightaway received some bad news about a young lady from a fellow co-worker enabler at self direction community project.

  ((((hug))))to the young lady. I know how your feel right now my dear. I am a 75 year old grandmother .

  I was a JW for over 20 years. When they kicked me out & my daughter -Grandchildren- great grandchildren didnt want to associate with me any more -I wanted to kill my self too.

  But the best is yet to come my love- That was in 1987- & now we have a wonderful support group

  of Ex JW who love me UNCONDITIONALLY..And beleive me I am hard to love........

  help, i need info for trial

  i need to know where abouts in the jw books does it say that you must obey your elders, and that if you don't listen, you can be disfellowshipped.

  at the trial on friday, the head of bethel said that no one in the organization could be disfellowshipped for not following elders commands.

  i know its written somewhere, and i have only today and tomorrow to find it.
