I believe in a lot of NDE's that I read or hear about, but not this one, I don't believe this boy or his parents for one second. It just screams "money making scam"- In interviews, his father is practically mouthing the words for him as the little boy speaks.

Wow. You know, I almost became a JW (I was thinking about it very seriously at one time) but after coming to this site and reading these stories, It's just sickening to me. How awful. I thought JW's were saints but I see now that they are just like everyone else in the world; their are good ones and bad ones and horrific ones. :(

JW friend forgetting who she was for a minute and being totally cool!
by PenelopePaige inok, i said i was leaving, but i can't entirely leave- i still check the site from time to time......anyhooo......my jw friend dropped by the other day, i had said i was going to stop taking the magazines, (which i have) and she had called to ask if she could bring them, i said no and came up with some story about work on house being done that day, i was caught off guard and not yet ready to give her the boot, figured i'd break up with her another time.
anyway, i'd said i had people coming by and it wasn't a good day but then she shows up!
says she's in the neighborhood and just wants to drop them off.

Ok, I said I was leaving, but I can't entirely leave- I still check the site from time to time......anyhooo......My JW friend dropped by the other day, I had said I was going to stop taking the magazines, (which I have) and she had called to ask if she could bring them, I said no and came up with some story about work on house being done that day, I was caught off guard and not yet ready to give her the boot, figured I'd break up with her another time. Anyway, I'd said I had people coming by and it wasn't a good day but then she SHOWS UP! Says she's in the neighborhood and just wants to drop them off. I like her anyway so wasn't too big a deal. I took the magazines and was about to walk her to the door when I notice that Dyan Cannon was on the View (tv on in my l.room right in front of us) so I say, "Look at Dyan Cannon, ,isn't she gorgeous? And I think she's around seventy!" and my JW friend starts to dish! She says, "That woman's face is pulled so tight she looks like a fish- look at those lip injections!" She got all "girlllll lemme tell you...." It was funny. Then somehow she gets on Chaz Bono and I immediatly say, "Oh I love her! I mean him!" Anyway, It was cool to see her slip for a slight second and get a little gossipy. I know it's hard to wear that perfect suit all the time. She really is a nice lady and I will miss seeing her when I break up with her and the mags. :(

My family just found out my grandfather died...6 months ago!

I've mentioned on here plenty of times that I have a stepmother who did this, though she is not a JW, she's isolated my father to the point where no family members know anything about him- and can you believe he allows this?! What a wimp!
Anyway, I google him from time to time to see if he's still living. Sadly, that's the only way I'll ever learn of his death, through the internet. I'm sure the raging bitch will be sure to also put out an obit making sure to NOT mention anyone in his family. Will probably say he had no children. Some people are so hateful! There really had better be a hell because this woman (and your step-grandmother) needs to go there! :)

I was suprised that this was such an issue. In point of fact, if anyone SHOULD be getting a boob job, it's an older woman. Because everything goes south when you get old. These young girls with tits up to their chins look stupid imo, but I saw this woman on t.v. and she looks great!

I was recently invited to a convention and I actually would have gone except when I asked if it would be okay if I wore dress slacks, the lady said no and I thought, "I am not putting on a dress and heels to sit there all day."

I've stopped my bible study but....

i said of course because i do love the awake and watchtower.
well, when she came by last week, she gave me the mags and then as we stood around chit-chatting, i realized we were basically still having the study, only we were standing up instead of sitting in the living room.

Homeless, laid off Bethelites living in tents in VA.
by koolaid-man ina regular caller to our six screens of the watchtower conference call david w. contacted the six screens tele-network on sept. 1, 2011 and reported that allegedly some laid off bethelites were living in tents behind a giant food store in virginia.. david stated their were two well dressed men and a young women around 30 years old temporally living behind the supermarket.. the woman according to david said she was trying to get to florida but did not have the money for the trip.. david said the police arrived and questioned the homeless people and they told the police that they were recently released from the watchtower org in ny.
the police made no charges.. has anyone else heard of this happening?.

What do the Pioneer's say when they leave my house?
by PenelopePaige ini've always wondered what they must say when they leave my house.
i did a bible study for a while and of course, at christmas i had a big tree and all the trimmings.
i have some nude sculptures in my house and angel sculptures on my lawn, plus lots of religious shrines around my house that my friend who is an artist makes and gives to me.

Flipper- I just read your bio- I'm glad your son and wife are so supportive but sorry about your daughters :( that sucks. I know how you feel, my father won't talk to me, I wish it were at least for religious reasons but instead it's because his new wife has basically used the same techniques the JW's use- She's slowly over the years isolated him from every one in his family, even his own mother. He used to "sneak" to call me but that stopped about ten years ago. So I think I know how some of you feel, losing family members over some craziness. Oh well, good luck to you ! :)
