our nissan primera is beginning to show her age somewhat.
consequently, her ladyship and i have decided that we'll start looking around when we come back from the usa next month.. we've done some preliminary enquiring, sounded out each others preferences, and we've decided that most of all we like....... the new mini!.

I have a '99 Honda Civic and I treat it like garbage.
I drive my car hard and change the oil when I get around to it. Today was it's very first ever repair after 57,000 miles. I kid you not, and you wanna guess what it was? Brakes. I finally had to change the ORIGINAL brakes. And I drive that car SO hard.
I won't ever buy anything but a Honda form here on out.
i feel so down.
i am beginning to think i am the kind of person that just walks away from their problems, instead of confronting them.
when people hurt me, i will hardly ever show it, voice my feelings or anything.

keep your chin up... every person on this earth is entitled to be soft once in a while. We are not hard tough machines, we are people with feelings and emotions. There is nothing wrong with seeking comfort and shelter, and the urge to run from our problems seems a lot easier than facing them when you are a bit worn down. There isn't anything wrong with being depressed either. Just because you are tired or worn out doesn't mean you are a weak little fearful sheep, it means you need a break. You are a strong person, and don't let anybody including you tell yourself otherwise.
It's better to be soft and tender than to be bitter and hard anyways. If you were close by I would ivite you over and let you drink yourself silly if you wanted to, but I think maybe you need a good hard cry and a listening ear that cares about you and all the things you may be going through...
i have some unique and troubling news.
i just got off the telephone with scott boer, vicki boer's husband and before that vicki.
her honour, justice anne molloy, has just ruled on the legal cost issue in the boer case.
This is a joke right? This can't be real My god this poor woman. She needs to appeal this, something needs to be done, this needs to go public big time... I still can't believe this...

when i was a jw there were a few sisters i knew who had serious weight problems.
i now have a couple of friends who are obese.
i have a weight problem also (about 40 pounds over my best weight).. i was out with my girlfriend today.
I always had issues with getting "heavy" and yet I eat like a mouse. (10-30 pounds extra, so nothing MAJOR, but still...) Then I found out I had a multi-nodular goiter on my thyroid because this much needed gland stopped working, my doc actually found it on a routine physical when he looked at my neck, he actually pushed at a spot on my throat and suddenley I felt like he was chocking me and I couldn't breathe, so he was like "Ok, soemthing is up with your thryoid, time for some tests." I lucked out big time by picking such a GOOD doctor to notice something like that just by looking at my throat. After months of testing and ultrasounds etc it was confirmed my throid wasn't workign well AT ALL, which is why I never ate but was chunky, always tired, alwyas cold (even in a Florida summer,) and lethargic, depressed and had dry skin and stuff... the goiter is from where my thyroid KNEW it wasn't working, so the gland kept growing.
Now I am on synthroid and eat a lot more than I used to and don't have to battle being chubby. I have the energy to work out, don't get cold and my skin isn't dry anymore. I am not in great awesome shape, but it's no longer a nasty battle of the 20 pound yo-yo.
don't get me wrong, i do believe that the americans did walk on the moon.
what does concern me is this:.
my son is in high school.
Nasa is linkined to the government. Why not hide it? They would have a lot to lose. Who knows if it iwas faked, but I wasn't there, I didn't go to the moon, I didn't see the men get into the space ship and take off, now did I? So I won't say one way or the other...
here's the good news: after six years of working at night so we didn't have to leave the children with people we didn't know (or, worse still, witnesses), big tex got a day job!!!!!
his law firm decided that they didn't want to lose him -- they knew he was interviewing for day jobs -- so found him a spot in the daytime.
we signed the kids up for the school's after-school program, which is excellent, and it is so incredibly wonderful to have him home at night!

are you of the mind that all men and all women are basically the same?
you know---all men just have one thing on their mind or all women are just users?
there's so much stereotyping when it comes to males and females...typical man, typical woman.
I prefer the company of men, if that means anything. I have always had issues with understanding women, they never say what they mean and use 50 million words to explain a sentence that could be summed up in 5 words. *lol* I tend to find the women I have known in my life to be jealous creatures and as a rule none of my girlfriends have ever been trustworthy... there are a few, and most of the ones I trust I have met here on JWD... men on the other hand I find more loyal. They also say what they mean unless they are trying to get into your pants.
This of course is not always, I am not making a rash bold all women are such and such sort of statement, I am simply basing this on my personal exp. with my past friends that have been female.
Men are awesome and make great friends. Women are simply beautiful and tender, both sexes deserve admiration for thier various opposite qualities.

i personally remember feeling tired all the time.
i had two young children and the treadmill just never seem to stop.
well, I dunno abotu that, but i know it causes poor mental health.
