  we've been married 2 years.

  i got to tell you that it has been the 2 happiest years of my life.

  SOLSTICE GREETNGS - ADD YOURS!!!

  just wanted to start a day early in wishing everyone a very joyous solstice.. this time of year has always seemed rather magical in a way - the shortness of the day, the lack of light, the so-obvious connection with the earth and solar system that it reminds me of.

  you pagans will all understand what i mean.

  somehow i've managed to get to a party of some sort at this time of year for the past few years, and i'm headed to one tomorrow night.. i also wanted to say that this board, and h2o before it, has been a huge help to me over the past two years.

  I am sure some of you are saying "Solstice, huh? What the heck is the Winter Solstice?" And since I am sure a few of you are scratching your heads...

  Winter Solstice (Christmas or the JW Saturnalia) happens in the middle of December. The Winter Solstice this year 8:21 am eastern time tomorrow -- December the 21st.

  It is celebrating the birth of our new Solar year and the beginning of Winter. This is a celebration of inner renewal and rebirth -- or so to speak.

  So, from me to all of you -- HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

  Ask yourself one thing, seriously. Would the person you are with die for you? Would you die for them? That is where the true answer lies.

  I would die for my friends and family, don't get me wrong -- but I would hesitate -- I would have some second thoughts.

  But my daughter I would die for without an ounce of hesitation, before you can blink your eyes and faster than the speed of light. That's what love truly is. I used to feel that way about my ex. And someday, when I fall in love again and when I find that sparkle in another's eyes, I would die for them willingly. And that's a fact.

  DIM goes out in service

  well, i'm moving away across the country in 2 months and my mother wants to spend some time with me.

  being a pioneer, her idea of spending time with her oldest son is working out in service for a morning....i've decided to go along with her tomorrow morning because i really couldn't think of a good excuse, since i'm presently laid off from my job and collecting $$ from the state of pa. i haven't been out since about march and am not looking forward to this at all.

  hopefully i won't have to talk or say much.

  the words "i'm sorry" have been misunderstood in today's world to sometimes give the person who is saying it the position of being weak.

  as if they are less than perfect because they are admitting they had made a mistake.

  i see the opposite to be true.
