need your opinion on "who else preaches like the JWs?"

i have a friend that has recently confided in me his doubts about the society being god's one and only organization.

his doubts run pretty deep.....but he is very much held in check by "but who else is preaching about the kingdom of god world-wide like jesus said"?

how would you combat that thinking?

There is a difference in how they are preaching. I have found many people that do it, however it's not like the JWs. They talk about using their different strengths.

For instance, someone really shy, door to door wouldn't be their strength, so why do it? Their strength may be in studying with those who are interested instead of talking to strangers. Etc.

I have talked to many christian apologists and I hear them say that a lot. I don't make videos that's not my calling, I am more suited to answering questions. etc.

The thing is, there is a lot of preaching going on as it turns out. More than I ever thought as a JW. What is even more interesting is those who are preaching the most, are not preaching about a church, or an organization, etc, they aren't trying to get you to "join" anything. It is truly a message of God and Jesus, not men.

I just found that very interesting myself.

Men's Bible Study Group Suggestion

is there such thing as a men's study group that is totally non-denominational, not attached to any church or denomination?.

furthermore, if i attended such a study and the elders found out, would it be considered a daing offense, even though it would be affiliated with any particular church or denomination?

any thoughts?.

It is forbidden in the WT, therefore a DF offense. Can't have you read the bible alone, you may see that that it contradicts the WT.

How Can Members of JWN Be Classified as Apostates When They Are Only Telling The Story as it Really is?

this term apostates, sure there are many that [deviate] from the [true] message.. but how can those that sit in the pews be the ones that can be called apostates if they stand up and tell it like it is?.

apostate, its just [another] of [many] labels that are used by the watchtower so as to instill fear, so that no one will question the establishment.. but, jesus and others before him rose up to tell the story how it really is, and see what happened to them, nothing has really changed, the [false] story still goes on.. but, those who have doubts, know that the watchtower is full of shit nonsense, my question is, why are you still there?

will it get you anywhere by remaining?

I call myself an apostate, you bet. I make videos and call myself an apostate. Witnesses came to the door the other day, and I told them I was a "full fledged in your face apostate" (she didn't run however, she asked questions)
I wear the label proudly. I can now see thru all the lies, manipulations, etc etc, coming from the WT. Their tricks no longer work on me. That is why apostates are so feared by the men in charge, Apostate = "we have no control over them" We are free.

Apostates defeated once again.....

before the mentally diseased apostates could get their hands on and dissect any information regarding the convention that hadn't been released to regular publishers/elders...the society released the district program on the official site completely and utterly slaying every single demented apostate on the face of the earth.

now have fun dissecting it kiddos, while we big kids get a taste of solid, spiritual meet this summer.

continue drowning in misery while god's people go on rejoicing and enduring these last days.

Yup the DC Program is on line alright. Seems like the "slaying" of apostates is coming in the form of a beat down of the witnesses, guilt, fear, shame and obey. Yeah, that's so slaying US.

likewise, the greater moses, jesus christ, is not the mediator between jehovah god and all mankind.

Who did Jesus command to preach, the anointed or the great crowd?

when one becomes filled with the knowledge of the promised earthly paradise under christ's kingdom, one wants to share it with others.

it is good news!acts 5:41, 42.. doing this is an important way of showing that you are a disciple of jesus christ.

in the bible, jesus is called "the faithful and true witness.

According to the latest special assembly, the "great crowd" job is to "assist" the anointed. Assist by going in service for them, obey them, beg them for spiritual scraps, work for the anointed. The "great crowd" only job is to be there for the anointed. Yes that talk ticked me off.
