Apostate minimum qualifications
by Mum ini was a baptized jw, so now i, to the best of my understanding, am regarded as an apostate by jw's in good standing.. my daughter was never baptized, but she so wants to be an apostate that i have taken pity on her and decided to find out if she qualifies anyway.
she was brought up as a jw.
after i left her dad, she mostly lived with him so that the indoctrination could continue.. she lost her religion anyway, so is there any hope for her to be considered an apostate.

These children could use some help, too
by Mum ina propos of ldh's appeal for gifts and cards for the baby in the hospital in toronto, it occurred to me that those of us who are so inclined and have the means might want to send gifts and/or cards to the slack children.
these kids are basically orphans now.. i found the address of the cook county guardian at the cook county website.
69 w. washington, suite 1800. chicago, il 60602-3007. the phone # is: 312/603-0800.. i called to find out the name of the caseworker but got the answering service.

Beth Sarim forever
by Mum inmy daughter is in san diego this weekend for a football game.
when she asked me what i wanted her to bring me as a souvenir, i asked for a picture of beth sarim.. then i started thinking about how that fine old mansion should be turned into a museum (as many shaker villages have been) in memory of the folly and foibles of j.f.
rutherford and the organization which he molded and promoted.. this may be far fetched, but are there others here who think we should all start a fund to purchase the property at 4440 (i think) braeburn road in the posh kensington heights section of san diego?
