I've seen the English portions of this elsewhere. NOt following German sites, of course, I haven't seen this particular one. I will endeavor to translate it, as time permits.

I still see no connection to Research & Development Corp.

I am familiar w/ the work of Research & Development Corp. I also spent a few years investigating an industrial engine of similar type to the RandCam. I find no direct match and little correlation.

I see the DONATION OF A GIFT to WTS. This tells several things.

One, WTS did not initiate this activity. Pure industrial operations are not their style, or 'thing'. Pure research and developemnt of an exotic engine, TO PROMOTE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPROVEMENTS OF A SUPPOSEDLY DYING WORLD SYSTEM is no where near the focus of WTS activities.

BTW, their 'thing' is preaching and pedaling influence via religious dogma. The printing, while an industrialization, is secondary and incidental to their 'core competencies'. Take a look at Randy's (Freemind.org) essay on WTS operating efficiencies, while he was there. They just aren't that good at it.

Should I 'cast judgement'? I happen to be a manufacturing Project Manager responsible for major factory upgrades. I would qualify as an 'expert witness' suitable to examine these things. I find Randy's report most damaging, as to WTS competency in the industrial arena. It is typical of those who go past the expertise of their core competency. Those groups tend to run things from an accounting standpoint, rather than viewing the best overall technological or manufacturing strategies. Again, their 'core competency' lies in the religious and psychological influence areas.

Two, the donor kept the voting rights on this gift. Smart move, and standard practice. What does WTS know about engine development? What would happen to the donor in his business empire without those proxies in his pocket? He could ousted or even sued for competency issues. So, WTS DOES NOT CONTROL a military-industrial complex. They merely stand to benefit IF it takes off.

TWO-A: IF it takes off. The very similar engine I investigated years ago has not taken off. Other established, familiar and cheaper technologies preempt both of these engines. Simply put, this is a 'white elephant'. I'll get back to this later.

TWO-B: the military-industrial connection. (Ignore the RandCam direct possible military application, for the moment. It hasn't taken off: see TWO-A. Also, the primary target market is automotive air-conditioning.) This was all discussed on the original H2O, before it collapsed. There was some mention of smart-bombs and such from a SISTER COMPANY belonging (at least in part) to the donor. That is known as COMPARTMENTILIZATION. One fellow may control three companies. But some partner or entity involved in Company A has no control or influence in Companies B or C. WTS therefore IS NOT a participant in those activities.

Am I a WTS exponent? By no means. But a juicy, rush-to-judgement grab at something inaccurate that you would like to hear doesn't do any good. Wishful thinking is just that.

Three, Amazing summed up a real and valid reason for all this. The donor seems to be buying absolution for his conscience. He makes some things that are questionable. WTS is always looking for money. Greed and avarice soon sell principles down the river. The donor looks around and ponders the white-elephant project. All successful inventors/industrialists have at least one of these in their inventory. He makes this LIMITED donation, whereby WTS can only benefit monetarily. WTS looks the other way at his other endeavors.

Simple as that. The other motives don't hold water. I await some real SOLID connections from your direction that show that they do.

BTW, the last comment on H2O about this was someone (JanG??, don't remember) unearthing a conflict of ownership in RandCam. There was to be some court action over this. Re-read that link you posted, w/ the German. The percentages of ownership seem ambiguous. Was the gift fraudulent?

Yes, it strikes me as pathetic that a group that enforces ignorance and superstition relishes inheriting something so diametrically opposed to their abilities.

Look at some of the comments on how Bethel, etc. is run internally.
Randy at Freeminds.org did an article on how backward the plant systems were used. Look that one up. I do factory upgrades daily as my job. It takes talent to do those things smartly. Assuming that there is/was that huge 'pouring out of holy spirit' that they claim, it still takes more than 50 year old techniques and equipment to do an efficient job. They were and probably are way behind the power curve on having a 'smart operation'.

Randy's evidence shows that the holy spirit really isn't there. Notice that they seem to have a lack of talent, i.e. looking for brothers w/ skill to go into servitude at Brooklyn. If J's blessing were on them, volunteers would have beat the door down.

Not StarFleet, that's for sure.

I've read EVERY link that you mentioned, in some cases YEARS ago. As I mentioned, I have even been in some of those places. Like the
'commie under every bed', the Dubs just aren't lurking in or under every dustbin.

Please provide some real connection between the strange, off-in-the-corner RAND ENERGY thing and Research & Development corporation. If you can't do that, then the air compressor, air conditioner, tractor, computer and grinder connections are just as good.

BTW, I recall that Ingersoll-Rand sold air compressors in mines in the midwest in the mid 1800's. Should I make anything of this history, predating CT Russell?

The RAND Institute has nothing to do w/ the RAND CAM engine thing that keeps surfacing w/ regard to a GIFT to WTS. The RAND Institute is a business that caters to government research, and is funded by those contracts.

The RAND CAM is a small company based on a limited invention (that has gone nowhere). It's on the Vancouver Stock Exchange ( everybody that's any body is; right, bunch of penny-stock wannabe's). This "connection isn't even strong enough to be described as
'tenuous'. You have never made a connection between the two!!! As far as links go, this one is SEVERED.

Using your methods the following bandwidth consuming waste of time still gets you the same place: nowhere.

The point is, it's gotten far afield, to where there is no connection to all these Smith & Jones collection of same name BUSINESS ENTERPRISES. Just because something is on the Web WITH A SAME OR PARTIAL NAME MATCH DOESN'T MEAN A CONNECTION. You've carried things a bit far, it seems.

I agree w/ your conclusions and that the Borg is the penultimate example of a controlled environment. There is little doubt that WTS would have it that way, if possible.

Not that I disagree with you, but I noted a strong fascination w/ 'Trekking' BEFORE the existence of the Borg as shown in TNG.

Bboyneko; yes, perhaps it's not the time or place for it, but some attitudes would really have to change to develop or even 'assimilate' the infrastructure required for space-faring. We are nowhere near close to being really sophisciated at it. That includes man-CENTURIES and giga-bucks of NASA efforts.

It's one thing to posit/postulate a massive zot/zap of holy-spirit?? and stuff magically appears. Its another to drive it, repair it or make the necessary adjustments and field expedient modifcations on the fly.

It is also difficult to simply jump in and use technology dropped in your lap. There is training and maintenance to worry about. Without a proper infrastructure, you couldn't even copy or "build stuff under license".

How do I get a 10,000 transistor IC made from a place that can't even do steel, being only in the Iron Age? (Remember Kirk's episode w/ "more snakes for the garden of Eden, Scotty"? That's not to mention "iso-linear circuits"; I can't seem to find those at Radio Shack, either.

That infrastructure means education. Somebody's gonna have to change a policy to get where this leads. Brooklyn ain't up to it.

So, ST & others (particularly Borg episodes) have become a social commentary. This was something I noticed from my old favorite, Analog magazine, anyway.

Good question, bboyneko. And a paradox is presented.

I recall lot's of interest in StarTrek B4 I left. That was way B4 TNG, definitely B4 Voyager and the Borg. Oops, the Borg got Piccard in TNG, OK.

I recall those after I left saying that it got real popular, especially w/ the younger generation, Elders included. And I got a lecture (and shepherding call from an Older) about my ANALOG SCIENCE FICTION/SCIENCE FACT tm subscription!!! BTW, I went into aerospace and actually touched shuttle stuff.

Anyway, at some gatherings in homes, most would go into rapt attention over ST, and a hush would occur in the room w/ the TV while the episode played. At one of these gatherings, once, I heard a brother comment, "I wonder if our spaceships will be like that?"

The inference was that the Dubs would eventually go into space!!! It would be "our" manifest destiny. Say What!!!???

Someone who would preach against the system, decry the education required to further the developemnt of all that necessary space technology and then expect the world to just 'hand over the keys' to Cape Kennedy/Canaveral and those shuttles or other space ships boggles the mind??!! Its arrogance squared, w/ a side of audacity.

These characters couldn't build or develop them, but they expected to inherit all this. Right!!!

Anybody else notice this???

Objection by an elder

i approached one of the elders with some of my doubts..... i mildly pointed to the fact that the wtbs had been errent in it's prediction of 1975 as well as some of the other "new light" issues.. his response was one which i have heard many times before: "the society is made up of imperfect men.

interestingly, in 99% of cases most witnesses will accept this explanation and feel guilty for questining a their fellowman ( the humaistic side of the organisation is unconscioulsy impressed onto the mid of the questioner).

at least that is how it has worked on me - until recently.. the next time i am fed this line of reasoning i would like to ask the following question: "ok brother elder, i accept that they are not perfect.

Quite right. With my limited dealings these days, I have heard that "Disrespect for the Elders" has become a major element. It's a great catch-all for the various and sundry minor ailments they have a hard time placing. And they can always make a demand, give you 5 minutes to comply and bust you. Pretty vague and pretty hard to fight.

(My Dad finally got busted back from MS after harassing EVERYONE in sight, Elders included, for 20-some years. Did they bust him on the numerous lies, gossiping and meddling incidents? NO, they used the vague & UNSPECIFIED "Disrespect for the Elders" tool.)

I like what Lindy said and did: nail them with their own petards. This is the way to do it.

I recollect someone in the last few months that legitimately got to call out a couple of Olders on a shepherding call for the congregation being cold and unsociable with their family. Those two left with 'their tail between their legs'. That (and Lindy's method) is the way to go.

If you are going to do this, feign righteous indignation and cry "you stumbled me" loudly!!! Boomerang the guilt ('do more') back onto them.

Don't forget what I call "it was expected of me". I guess that equates to "felt like you had to", as you put it. I don't recall a 'race' involved, but then again maybe I was the first one. I was 11, as I recall. That was before the drilling & grilling. I would probably have 'shined it on' w/ the current crop of examinations.

As Gopher points out, YOU ARE OUT OF LINE.

As I mentioned, my father imposed on me over 600 times AFTER I LEFT HOME. That was in my home or some neutral place or ON MY TELEPHONE
& MY TIME.

If I listened quietly and dutifully (as I did to my father), I believe that Jesus or Jehovah, visiting me personally, would RESPECT MY WISHES, if I respectfully declined after hearing their presentation. But not that clown!!! JW's seem to be, by training, turned into the most obnoxious people on this planet. They are totally lacking in manners and decorum, from my observation.

BTW, the discussion NEVER was really about doctrine. It was "you gotta go to meeting's", 'time is short', 'the end is near', 'do more', 'go back to pioneering' (and starving). Or it was how bad some other person was behaving. Gopher was right about judgemental.

The only doctrinal discussion I have ever had a difference on is on the proper higher education that I was cheated out of. An elder (college educated) from the next congregation sent his kids to university and NOTHING WAS SAID. (He and his son were both regular exchange speakers on Sunday.) I (and others) took a needed few night classes and got a stream of visits from the Olders.

But, I hear they (WTS) have mellowed on the higher education issue. That's good; they got a favorable view (to any from the outside) into print. However, as some w/ CO/DO/other type of inside track info have pointed out, they still do the back room slam-dunk discouragement. Same old double-standard. Where do you think my father learned his 'end justifies the means' conduct?

A lot of us are stumbled by jerks who don't know their religion from a hole-in-the-ground. JW could be changed to HW for HORRIBLE Witnesses.

no offence all but jws meet three times per week.not five!

i consider the familiar statement about 5 meetings per week to be a good indication of just how indoctrinated a person is.
