  CO visit: what's the big deal?

  i'm an outsider who was once told by someone at the local kh that the whole cong.

  was abuzz with activity because the co was there to visit that particular week.

  the whole meeting schedule was changed for the week, people were putting extra hours in service, etc.

  I have used Abebooks.co.uk a couple of times with no problems. Handy site, especially for those in the USA, where most of the books I want seem to be! :)

  Revelation Book

  what does everybody think of the revelation book it is the red one,i am breezing thru it at the moment i can't believe how deep it is and thier explanation for each scripture.

  :When I was a dub, I always felt guilty because I couldn't understand all that "spiritually deep." I didn't stop to consider the fact that God is not supposed to be a God of confusion and was only a God for those priviledged few who could understand those "deeper" things. :
  
  It was exactly the same for me. I used to study this stuff and think that there was something wrong with
  me because I just couldn't seem to make sense of any of it. Now I realise it was just total and utter bollocks.

  We had a husband and wife who were 'of the annointed' in our cong. The husband died quite a time before the wife and she grew very old and frail. She lived next to the KH and the witnesses rigged up a cable so she could listen to the meetings from the comfort of her own home. From what I gather she didn't hold back from giving the elders a piece of her mind if she thought they were out of line. :)

  Threw Away My Last JC Penny's Suit Tonight...

  i can remember drinking out of a bottle.

  and i remember when i was 2 1/2 my mom carrying me around on her hip at the assembly hall in puyallup wa.

  I can remember quite a few things from my early childhood but one that sticks in my mind when I was about 3 or 4 getting ill and being paralysed from the waist down. I can vividly recall pushing myself up between 2 chairs swinging my rubbery legs underneath me and watching them collapse when I tried to stand. :)

  ok usually i'll be drinking iced tea when i read... sometime coffee if i read in the am.

  i've tried reading while mr.panda is watching tv but that doesn't always work.

  so what do you do while you read?
