South Park?
by dubla inive havent noticed to many references to south park on the board recently.......do we have south park watchers on here?.
if so, did anyone catch the 100th episode last night?
i would reccomend that episode to everyone on this board that has been discussing the war issues.....it was hilarious, and made some great points with humor that both sides could get something out of.....pretty funny stuff.

Our cable company doesn't carry Comedy Central, a good friend of mine at work taped it for me. I'll get to see it this weekend. Love the show. Irreverent, Timmy is my favorite character, Mr Hanky the talking poo comes in at a close second.

I didn't get the job.

i didn't even get called for an interview.
a friend called and told me there was a new girl working at the job i applied for.. tried not to get my hopes up too high, but i do feel a bit down.

Sadie, I was really hoping you were going to get the job, I feel disappointed for you. Have you put an application on line? I did that. I was in a job that I knew was going to fold so I used the newspaper and the internet. I received a call from a company that we were a distributor for and they offered me a job. After I accepted my new job (they accepted my terms) I received a couple of offers locally that weren't even listed in the newspaper. Keep trying.

It is so hard to lose a loved pet. You miss their faces, their routine, their love. I have four cats, and three dogs. The cats all sit on command, but that is all they have allowed me to teach them. I hope each of them have the lifespan that your Squeak did.
Please don't punish yourself for getting upset with her over her accident. It was a natural reaction. Squeak did teach us all something didn't she? She did something out of character, she got a trip to the vet and it was discerned that there was something wrong. I had that happen to a young dog that had a rare liver disease and we had to put him down too. He was acting out of character and I waited too late to take him to the vet, I didn't see the warning signs.
Squeak left you so many happy memories, and she loved you, just as you loved her, cherish that, for that is her gift to you.

kinda boring sitting around in the heat (although i can't complain too much since we were in a nice patch of shade and had a decent breeze).
a "customer" pulls in and my mother quietly whispers to me "isn't that so-n-so's dad (a dub girl i went to school with).

I can't imagine my life without my daughter. So many passed up a wonderful role of being a parent, because they let others discourage them in something they want. Now so many years later, there must be many who regret that they let that time pass only to be alone in their later years.

i don't know how to explain it completely, but it is a red chiffon and a copy of a very famous german styler.

Goofy, if you like the dress you should wear it, and enjoy it. If you thought it were inapproriate you would not have decided to wear it in the first place. I have seen all sorts at the assemblies and at the memorial. My choice for that night is a cosy pair of pajamas, drinking some wine and posting here on the forum.
