Just depends on the circumstances and congregation. My Uncle was never baptised, and rarely attended, but my Grandmother's congregation was willing to give him a memorial. Those of the family who aren't in the the troof threw a stink, as we knew these weren't his wishes, so it never happened. It just depends. It's up to the elders of the congregation, and then if someone is comfortable giving the talk.

LMAO. I find that anyone who says, "You don't understand basic free market economics." is usually talking out their ass. They're usually Paulbots who have no clue what economics even is, nor can they see the consequences of the actions they promote. We don't live in a bubble.

How is a tax subsidy Socialist? Basically all they are doing is giving you a tax break. I thought those were conservative values?

You obviously have little to no idea what socialism is. There's little to nothing socialist about Obamacare besides the small percentage of income increase on the medicaid side. Other than that it's just a big high five to private insurance corporations. Basically what this did was raise profits for the insurance companies and force you to buy their product by law. There's nothing socialist about that.

Buddha was walking in NYC. A hot dog vendor yelled as he passed, "Hot dogs here!" Buddha stopped and chuckling said, "I'll have one with everything." He handed the vendor a $10 dollar bill. The hot dog vender gave him the dog and said, "Thank you." When Buddha asked for his change the vendor looked with a smile and said, "Ah, but change must come from within..."

The Watchtower is under siege from inside and outside
by suavojr inthat is the reason the watchtower leaders are desperately trying to protect their indoctrinated supporters from being influenced by the critics.. it will get harder and harder to recruit in countries where the internet is easily accessible...the watchtower has no control over the public like it does the indoctrinated jws.
..any interested person can very easily google and learn the truth about the watchtower cult before a 'return visit' can be made.
although most jws would be afraid to go into 'apostate ' sites, more and more are waking up to the truth about the watchtower , their interest triggered by different reasons such as the child abuse cover up, the constantly changing doctrines, the downsizing etc.

So you're saying you wouldn't buy some stock if they were publicly traded?

I'm not arguing that point. I agree. My point is I don't think it will hurt them. Corporations have figured out they can get more work done, and of course make more money, with the same or less people. Door to door salesman are long out of relevance and effectiveness. They're just going to get more hardcore with the control and a little broader and vague with the dogma. They'll utilize technology and streamline the profit structure.
The money isn't in the publications. It's in the assets. They have all the people they need to figure out the best way to utilize their labor in these times. I wish the WBTS was a publicly traded company. I'd buy as many shares as I could.
