When they talk about leaving...
by detective ini was thinking back to my conversation with my friend and he said several times that he was torn and thought about leaving the organization.
he didn't address anything specifically and does not seem at all able to criticize the group in any fashion whatsoever so i'm thinking that it's an emotional response and not an intellectual one.. .
i think it's pretty telling that he can't bear to speak critically about the group.

Fangs for the memory; would you become a vampire?
by Abaddon innow, first off, there's no such thing.. but, let's imagine that we live in the same dimension as buffy (most of the guys and a few of the women start paying attention), or the anne rice novels, blade, whatever.. vampires are real.
god is distant and removed.
there is an epic, but drawn out and irresolvable struggle between good and evil.

There is more to Lestat than that Lyin. He is a very complex and well written character for books of this genre. Not to mention that there are about 5 or 6 books inthis series and numerous stand alones. There are many things about Lestat AND Louis, and even that little shit Armand that you do not know yet. Go to the library!!

And I just realized I didn't answer your question. I don't know what I would do given that choice. THe whole spirit of the Anne Rice novels is that humans are unable to resist the lure of everlasting life (or seemingly so) Even Louis tells daniel at the end of Interview that he missed the whole point in the story he was telling. Louis more than anyone mourned for the humanity he lost. Any one of them would give up immortality for just one sunrise, (especially Lestat who actually did so) So if I take into account the "lesson" of the novels, no I would not take it. Of course, since I am human, of course I would.

Well I haven't seen too much of Angel so I can't really say for certain. But you have to remember that Louis is weak only compared to the elite company he keeps. He's a titan compared to the mongrel vampires that are the norm. As I'm sure you know, Lestat made Louis, and Lestat was far more powerful at the time of the making then he let on. Louis did have signigicant strength, just not compared to Lestat and the like. Angel appears to just be a quicker far stronger human from what I've seen of the show. He's fought standstills with Buffy has he not? And there is no chance in hell louis would have any difficulty with a 19 year old martial arts champ, slayer powers or no.

Buffy vampires are pathetic. Lestat would eat a hundred of them for lunch. Even Louis could smoke Angel. And that's just sad.

ANOINTED Jehovah Witness has no doubt,
by lotus inhello, i am new to this website, but have to be straightforward and say that i do not agree with most subjects and contents.
i am an active jehovah witness, but i am very lonely so i am looking for others with the "hope" or to speak to those that know someone that does.
it has been a long , hard road for me.
