  does anyone have another view or interpretation of the 7 headed 10 horned wild beast and the one that gives it power that beast having one head and 2 horns.

  i believe current wt informs the 7 headed wild beast to be the un and the beast that gives it power the 2 honed wild beast to be the american-anglo power.

  please give any other alternative views to this prophecy.

  No it just means that all new members from now on are of the non-special class which means Simon will not speak directly to them. On of us must now mediate all new users. That is of course unless one of us leaves than a new user can 'take our place'!

  It was prophetic writings of a rather large dump I took yesterday - it had seven heads and ten corns! Then I followed up with a one headed 2 corned poop. John obviously had this in mind when he wrote it.

  The sad thing? My intrepretaion is JUST as valid as nay other religions. Espcially the WTBTS...

  Ha ha. The average hours is down to 9.3 for pub and 61! for reg pioneers. I thought pioneers did it for the LOVE of service - wonder why the hours have dropped so much when they went to the 70 hour requirement. Wonder how many 'pioneers' they'd have if it was still 100 a month!

  My past weekend

  saturday afternoon i made the decision to step down as a minsterial servant.

  i had given it a lot of thought and i came to the conclusion that i would be doing the right thing.

  i told my wife about the decision i had planned on making and that basically killed her mood for the rest of the day.

  Good luck to you. You face a REALLY tough decision - and it all comes back to the massive control the religion holds over your life. Want out of the religion? Fine, but we will take your wife, all your friends, and your family. That's one reason I think there are MANY MANY MANY people in the JWs who are in a 'holding' pattern just like you. They see the problems in their world, but choose to ignore them to avoid the massive penalties involved with leaving the JW world.

  I will say this to you - me and my wife have never been happier, healther, and more satisfied with our lives than now. Do we 'have the answers'? Know what the 'true religion' is? Nope. Never will either. And you know what? That doesn't matter! That's the true struggle, becoming aware of the fact that humans will never answer the age old relgion/god debate - so why pound your head against a brick wall trying?

  I do agree with messenger - you'd better be careful you're giving the elders plenty of ammo to DF you. If they want to. Toe the line for now and they will probably let you go - if you answer yes to the question "Do you thing JW are god's one true org". But keep up the doubt talk and prepare for the worst. JWs are not allowed to have doubts. And it's not possible for the majority of JWs to think you can have doubts 'on your own' they feel it MUST come from apostates - though you seem to have been having them way before you ventured here. You are just discovering some interesting things you never knew about your religion here. What you do with the info is up to you. Best of luck!

  through the years jw are taught not to read this and that, ham radio was evil (altghough awake listed frequencies and sceduled times for jw hams), today this is applied to internet as well.

  i hope this ngo/dpi alone will prove the dangers associated here.

  blind faith simply does not pay off.. here is one way of describing the difference how faith can be based either on assumption or a proven knowledge.

  A few things I don't understand about the bible

  there have always been things about the bible that never really made much sense to me.

  not to say that i disagree with whats in the bible but i have wondered about the fairness of certain things.. 1. for example i've always even as a child thought that it was odd that so many people would die during armageddon.

  now as an adult and i understand people better than i did years ago i really do feel puzzled about the fact that according to the scriptures the majority of mankind will perish.
