I wonder if this guy is the same sick troll who has been using the Silentlambs guestbook. He set up a website that had a fake newspaper article about Bill engaging in homosexual acts and has insinuated other evils about Bill. He has also created fake AP new stories and posted them on the guestbook. Occassionally he would sign his name HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. A few days ago I received an email calling me a 'Hoe and having a link to a porn site and the subject was HAHAHAHAHAHA. I reported the fake news article to the (adult web hosting site) The webmaster was very nice and said he had spoken to the FBI? about this guy but the fake story couldn't be removed without a conviction. Anyway if you need any info let me know

Dear LoveDubs,
I have been following your story with your mother in law and I would like to offer a different perspective.
If her story were made into a movie it would go something like this: Family is in a cult-- some families members realize the situation and get out. It looks like the problem is solved but of course that was just the opening few minutes Now we see the power of this cult, we see how it separates husband from wife; mother from sons and daughters and even from her own grandchildren. Well get a few potent scenes of this older woman alone at night crying. Maybe a few of her eating lunch at a restaurant all alone and watching a happy grandmother with her grandchild at the next table. Well see her sitting at home looking through the family photo album and in every scene she is crying. We see her with her daughter in law, the only one she can trust and be truthful with. But slowly we see that the older woman is forcing her own mind to reject the reality of this cult and conform to it again. She is old, she is alone, she is afraid of dying alone alienated from her own flesh and blood. She must conform and she must convince herself that the cult is right. She can never again face reality it is the price she must pay for her family. And what about her daughter in law? This woman knows deep down that this DIL is the most honorable one in the family. In fact, she is counting on the DILs humanity; she believes that this mother will not take her grandchildren away from their grandmother. At the end of the movie we cry for everyone---for the daughter in law for the grandmother, for this complicated ending. We dont blame the grandmother and yes, we do feel sorry for the daughter in law. The daughter in law is the only true hero but there is no happy ending. Most of all we hate the cult with all our might.

Oregon Lawsuit News Coverage
by silentlambs insuit targets jehovahs witnesses
benton complaint about sex abuse and church policy is said to be the first of hundreds across the u.s.. .
the setup is such that the elders are the voice of the watchtower, and the watchtower is the voice of christ.

Brown, the Witness spokesman, said that while the church does require two witnesses or other compelling evidence before meting out any church discipline, that's beside the point because that requirement deals only with internal church procedures. He said the church does not forbid members from reporting crimes to the police.
Since when does Watchtower allow OTHER COMPELLING EVIDENCE? I think they are starting to back peddle

Sister Blondie, I have a comment. I want to comment on the paragraph with the sentence: Can our students readily see that we love all in the congregation and work hard at preserving peace with one another?"
I know this is a true statement and I'd like to tell a little story to illustrate the point. In our congregation a child molester (after his year in Juvenile detention) returned to the same hall (big city --lots of other halls) as his victim. The loving elders informed us that telling other people that he was a convicted molester would divide the hall and disrupt the peace of the congregation. Also the elders gave a very clear talk from the platform about the need to forgive the molester and show love to him, never mind that a four year old victim doesn't understand forgiveness. She was just traumatized. So see it is true that Jehovah's people are loving and preserve peace with all

Would the WT society disfellowship Jesus?
by ELON14 inabout three weeks before i handed in my letter of disassociation (two months ago) two elders from my congregation came to my door, for the first time since my son's death (which happened 8 months earlier).i knew it wasn't a special love for me or my family that suddenly motivated them to come.for few weeks prior to that visit i was sharing the new truth about the 'truth' that i was discovering with any listening ear.
now it was obvious to me that these two elders had been sent by the body of elders to hear it themselves so it can be used against me...and hear they did.
the 'poor' elders had to stand there (they refused to come in) and listen to it all.

Thanks for the article but would you mind editing your text? Would you highlight the info and then increase the FONT size to 10 or 12?
Sorry can't see that well

The congregation witch hunt!
by kenpodragon inhas anyone ever studied the salem witch hunts and trails.
what i found interesting about these, is how people who claimed to be peaceful, could get so riled up, that they were willing to kill people.
the spark that lit the fire was often a rumor or false accusations that got out of hand, or perhaps a misunderstanding on a issue or people thinking they saw something they didn't.

This happened to our family. My son and his wife separated and my son moved in with our daughter and her husband. His wife who had previously been treated by a pyscharist and suffered from a range of problems including an identity disorder, decided he was cheating on her. She and an elder and elderette decided to stalk my son. One night when he and his sister and her husband came back to their apartment after seeing a movie there was the elder and elderette. At the Sunday meeting my college educated daughter told the elder that she did not appreciate him stalking them and then the crazy elder replied that the next time he was going to hang around the apartment complex he would call ahead to let her know. (I mean is that a crazy statement or what? Like he had a RIGHT to do whatever) Anyway daughter tells him the next time she sees him inside her GATED complex she will call the police and have him arrested. Well, of course, this didn't go over well. The circuit overseer gave a talk marking daughter and her husband without any elder even bothering to even talk to them. We decided this was just too crazy of a game to play along with so we spread a bunch of dis-information (learned that from WT) What a stupid policy marking by innuendo!

The ninth court of appeals let the JW's continue to practice disfellowshipping as long as it did not constitue a danger to the public. Isn't it time to revisit the issue?
*883 [7] We find the practice of shunning not to constitute a sufficient threat to the peace, safety, or morality of the community as to warrant state intervention. The test for upholding a direct burden on religious practices is as stringent as any imposed under our Constitution. Only in extreme and unusual cases has the imposition of a direct burden on religion been upheld. See, e.g., Reynolds v. United States, 98 U.S. (8 Otto) 145, 25 L.Ed. 244 (1878) (polygamy); Hill v. State, 38 Ala.App. 404, 88 So.2d 880 (1956) (snake handling). The harms suffered by Paul as a result of her shunning by the Jehovah's Witnesses are clearly not of the type that would justify the imposition of tort liability for religious conduct. No physical assault or battery occurred. Intangible or emotional harms cannot ordinarily serve as a basis for maintaining a tort cause of action against a church for its practices--or against its members http://jehovah.to/legal/general/paul.htm

Way to go Reborn
My husband often flies out of an airport that has a "Witness table". He always gives them grief, last time there were two middle age sisters and he asked them specifically about a child molester who had been convicted in the local congregation. They were aware of it but told my husband, "It was handled." Actually it was handled but by the police when he raped a "worldly" girl and so my husband asked them how many girls he had molested in the congregation before the police were involved? And he asked them if they realized that the elders would not warn them if a molester was present in the hall and therefore they could not protect their children. Then he asked about the Dateline show and yes, the women had seen it. Again their answer was, "It was handled." He reasoned with them for about 15 minutes and later as his plane was late he went back to the booth, but the sisters had left.
I truly salute all those articulate and courageous enough to make this stand.
