Disfellowshipped at a funeral

recently at a funeral for an active jw, death was sudden and tragic.

was surprised that that one of the disfellowshipped children of the deceased was comforted by the jw's at the funeral.

i would say the majority hugged and said a few short words to the disfellowshipped child on the recieving line to comfort the family.

When both of my Granparents died, within a few years of each other, there were TONS of JW's at both funerals, because my parents are still "IN", and have been since the 70's. My parents have hundreds of JW "friends", and MANY TRUE friends, both JW and not.

Anyway, i am/was DF'd, and almost EVERYBODY came up to me and hugged me, and gave me condolences for losing my Grandparents. Of course, i know, and rightly so, they were there more for my Father, as it was his parents who died, but i was treated very "normal".

I was love "bombed" by the Elders, but many in the R&F did not care what anybody "thought", and went up to me. There was one IDIOT elder, and he was always an idiot, the fact that he IS an Elder, shows how desperate they are for "qualified men", and this dopes ONLY words to me, at the funeral, were " Have you thought about coming back to the truth". Out of respect for my Father, i did NOT kick his knees out, punch him in his throat, and carry him over my shoulder and out the funeral homes front door. Instead, i said "no", and walked away.

As nice as this was, to at least be "acknowledged" by these people, i had to go to the Kingdom hall like 6 months later, for a brothers who was a business partner of mines funeral talk. Well ALL those SAME Elders, WOULD NOT EVEN LOOK AT ME NOW. It was ridiculous, almost comical. I felt like saying, "what happened", remember like 6 months ago we said hello, now you are literally waling by me, pretending i am not here". If it didnt hurt so much, it would be almost childish in behavior, like they were scared little 4 year olds of the "boogey man".

Quite a few of the R&F, DID acknowledge me at the KH, and waved or smiled, BUT NOT the elders, but yet just 6 months before, they were love bombing me at a funeral. CRAZY!!!!!!

WOW, guys, this is GOOD news. Of course, i dont mean the horrible, twisted, unloving, and unchristian, behavior the WTS is promoting here.

What i mean, is that this is truly a sign of their unraveling, and desperation. They are losing it, and have dropped the ball. This is complete and utter desperation on their part, and is based on FEAR.

They KNOW that they are LOSING. The masses ARE getting disgruntled. The MANY that have been shunned, DF's, or DA'd, have been planting seeds, and "reaching" the hearts of many. The internet, is DESTROYING the WTS's illusions, and their lies are being exposed.

In their now desperate propaganda, and hate speech, they are only SHOOTING THEMSELVES IN THE FOOT. Now they are going to make further people decide, if they want to have a relationship with their "evil" family members, OR follow the teachings of out of touch MEN.

Its almost comical, how much the GB are their own worst enemies. Now they are going to make MORE Elders go on "witch hunts", and start DF ing MORE members for their relationships with "out" family members, and then the cycle will continue.

MORE and MORE will be leaving. The GB is squeezing the "life" out of the few that are barely hanging in, and MORE are going to fall out of their tight grip.

The WTS is a group of HATE, and they are now imploding, and at a RAPID pace, more than EVER before in the past.

We are the WITNESSES to JEHOVAH, finally cleansing the WTS and "unseating" them. These are exciting times, my friends, it is the beginnings of the END of this HATEFUL CULT.

has anyone noticed how the phraseology of this letter is so far away from todays jw theology and idioms used?

do you notice what word is missing?

how would any of us be viewed in the congregations if we were to speak or write this way?

I wonder if, besides those supposed 3 sentences, the Nazis "edited" this letter some more. Maybe the Nazis, put "lord" in, and took out "jehovah", possibly. One of the reasons i feel this letter was "altered" even more so than the 3 sentences, is because i think he was saying " just cant shoot (another human/person)", not "just cant shoot". By the Nazis altering the letter that way, they can make it look like he wasnt "worthy", as someone who cant shoot, as opposed to someone who showed humanity by saying, cant shoot another human.

Just a thought, for some reason, my "gut" is telling me, the letter was REALLY "cut and pasted", even more than it shows. Obviouslly, the Nazis, DID censore letters, since it admits to the 3 sentences, so why wouldnt they take Jehovahs "name" out, and take out, or even add words, or wording, that they wished, who knows though.

Either way, this was a heart touching letter. I "felt" his pain, and felt for his poor family. What a shame.

How would you/did you categorize the elders in YOUR hall!

i would consider some of the elders in my hall genuine shepherds ( though g men) there are a couple others i would consider robotic/wooden (boring) but ok. then of course there is the complete knob (pharisee wannabe) who grinds my wife and i's gears.

every hall seems to have one!!!

so how do/did you view the elders in your hall?

My old hall started out having "reasonable" men, one of whom was my father, when i was younger. My father eventually stepped down, due to tons of hypocrasy starting, especially as the "older" gentle elders were put out to pasture, and abunch of new assholes came in from other congs, and bethel.

We, also had the, back rubbing, sugar coating, PSYCHO, who was on a disfellowshipping rampage. Some Elders, who used to kiss his ass, and made like his bullshit was "spiritual", eventually HATED him, once he turned on them, and their family. 4 elders wound up leaving to go to other congs. They had to give announcements, and local needs, about how "bad" that was.

Many, power tripping, HIGHLY JUDGEMENTAL, men. Would compare you to JUDAS, and NOT because you were an apostate, but because you committed fornication, and smoked weed. Would, also, say you would have been stoned for that, back in ancient Isreal. Yeah, and i also would have had 100 wives, slaves, and SEEN Jehovah part thr red sea, too, JERK-OFF.

A few older, elders from Bethel, who thought they were practically Jesus incarnate, and expected you to kiss their ass, because they were on the "writing committee", or did jail time when they were 18 for not going to war, PUSSY was probably SCARED.

Elders who used to condemn EVERYTHING the teenagers were doing, and that we were "animals", while their 6 year old children were PERFECT, until they became teenagers, and now THEY are REAL ANIMALS, KARMAS a bitch aint it.

The PO would blame the "poor spirit" of the congregation, on YOU, and then after YOU are gone thru DF ing, the congregation does even WORSE, and the Elder body is splintered. PO would never apologize, or take responsibility for THEIR actions as the HEAD.

Honestly, and this is really the truth, some of the WORST human beings i have EVER known, were the Elders i grew up knowing, up until my early 20's when i left, and i have worked with LAWYERS, and CRIMINALS. Right now, in my life, i have over 300 business accounts, and deal with over a 1000 employees and owners, within these accounts, on a monthly basis, and NONE of these "worldly" people, even come close to being as EVIL as most of the elders i have known. In my second "business", as a landlord, i rent to all types of people, of all economic levels, and races, and neighborhoods, and have yet to find bigger scumbags than the elders i have known, and i HAVE been "beat" on rent.

Some of these "men" have made the biggest impression on my life, in such a negative way, and they were supposed to be the "shepards" of the organization. Myself, now being the man i am today, could never bring myself to treat another person the way they have treated others, including myself, and i never have claimed to be "guided" by "holy spirit".

The "tension", and "escalating" manner, that this got to, was because of the JW's. This guy, and YES it may have been a tad forward, just was asking about wanting to ask a few questions. He was upfront about wanting to tape it and that he just had a few questions. Those 3 men, IGNORING him, unable to engage him, and literally walking away from him, like children, is what escalated it.

Give the guy a chance, THEY assumed it was going to be negative, and THEY pre-judged the situation, just as much as some are saying this guy who approached them did.

When it was clear, that they WERE cowards, and just wanted to "pretend" that there was NOT a human being in front of them, then this guy acknowledged it, and walked away. He did NOT curse them out, or call them names. Yes, its true, we as the watchers of this, probably knew he wasnt sympathetic, but THEY didnt know. Their attitude was to ignore him, pre-judge his intentions, and walk away. That is essentially what HE did too. The difference, HOWEVER, is these men have put themselves on the street TO be approached, TO present information, and TO ANSWER QUESTIONS.

Jersey City Assembly Hall Memories

so i was watching clips from the annual meeting.

i must say i do miss the jersey city assembly hall.

i loved going to that place as a kid.

OH, and who can forget those "light shows" that they would do, at the end on the last day, after the last talk, of the weekend assembly. They would dim/ shut off the lights, play that horrible music, and "light up" the "stars". It was the same "show", every year. They would have the "clouds" spinning around on the ceiling, and the lights twinkle like stars. Then when it was over, everyone would "CLAP", like it was the most incredible thing they had ever seen. Honestly, i think everyone was clapping because they knew that boring as shit assembly was finally OVER, lol.

I used to have my assemblies at the Stanley Theatre, too. I was going there since probably 8 years old. I actually gave a bible reading there, when i was 9 years old. Also, did a part on there as one of the kids of a "spiritual family", with another young girl my age, who was the PO's daughter, and our "parents" were a middle aged pioneer couple, lol. I was nervous as HELL, being a 9 yr old kid up on that stage, and in front of THOUSANDS of people. The worst part, was being backstage waiting before you went on stage, thats when your nerves kick in.

Later on, in my pre- and early teens, i remember all the "hang out" spots, that the Stanley theater had. Sometimes, i would meet my friends, during lunchbreak, at the lion fountain, on the side of the main seating area on the ground floor. We would call it the "spitting Lion", it was a Lions head with water sqirting from its mouth and into a "bowl".

Or, we had a meeting spot, downstairs, by where the underground bathrooms were. Does anybody remember HOW MANY stalls there were in those bathrooms? Especially the womans room, they probably had over 50 stalls in a row, just so there would never be a line. After one assembly, it was my congregations turn for the cleaning assignment, and i will never forget ALL those bathrooms/toilets/sinks, that needed cleaning.

This really applies to any older assembly, not just Stanly theater, but i remember the old food "tickets", and the food, like burritos, chicken sandwiches, and the ham n egg breakfast sandwiches, or at least in America they had that. I DO remember the ice cream machines at the Stanley theater. There would always be, bad little kids, loading up on TOO much ice cream, and getting "caught" by MaMA, as she threw little Jamal, an ASS WHIPPIN.

I remember, when you first walked into the theater, there was a large, circular, tiled compass?, on the floor, and i remember a "sister" holding a baby, slipping and falling on the, nice slick tile.

My, father used to always want to sit towards the front, and i used to HATE that shit. When you went to the bathroom, you would have to walk that whole, long walkway, to the back, and you are thinking everybody is staring at you. LOL, i remember a large, fat, "brother" making the "long walk" back to his seat, and his suit jacket was shoved/tucked down his pants, in the back. It looked like he had a "quicky" and barely got his pants back on. There would always be the "sister" making the "long walk" back to her seat, from the bathroom, and with a length of toilet paper stuck to her high heel.

And, lastly, i will never forget all the fashionable "black sisters", and their GIGANTIC FREAKING HATS, lol. Some of those things were INSANE, and looked like satelite TV dishes, on their heads. There were these. big, flowery, lacy, monstrosities, randomly all over the place, and blocking children, and short adults, from seeing anything on the stage.

Good times, good times, at the old OPULENT STANLEY THEATER. Makes many of Christendoms houses of worship, look like a garage.

Just another example of the "signs" of the "unravelling" of the org. To me, the main "vibe" of a, so called, Christian org, should be love, and living in harmony with who, and whats around us. Instead, we see the increasing "vibe" of the org. is hate, fear, attacking, paranoia, and a continued demand for unquestioning "loyalty", even if it goes against your instincts as a human being.

For this man to specifically say something like a modern, computerized cell-phone, was CREATED by Satan, just reeks of paranoia, and a "back woods", out of touch with reality, mind-set. How DOES he KNOW, that Satan created this specific type of cellular phone? Does he have an "inside track" to Satans doings? Does this crusty, old, out of touch, idiot, speak to Satan often?

Yes, brothers, I spoke to Satan lastnight, and he has indeed confirmed that he made the latest cellphone version, and specifically wanted it to have an extra clear picture, for "money shots", and anal. PSYCHO!!!

@ - Bonzai - Its true that we have the technology to nearly wipe out all of the planet, at this time, BUT i guarantee you if we were alive during the BLACK PLAGUE, which was many centuries ago, we would have been thinking THOSE WERE the last days. Almost half the Earths known population DID die from the black plague.
