i have a confession to make.

a strange urge is building in my brain... each time i see a jw literature cart on the street it builds.

it is becoming a stronger and stronger thought in my mind.

Lol, what if we ALL, make a concerted effort to, whenever we see a cart to -

(a) Stumble into it, completely wrecking it, knocking everything to the floor, then get up, brush ourselves off, and say " I AM GOING TO SUE YOUR ASSES, HOW DARE YOU PUT THIS IN MY WAY".

or

(b) Walk by the cart, "tripping" on the carts corner, falling flat on your face, and screaming "I AM GOING TO SUE YOU, THIS CONTRAPTION HERE, HAS TRIPPED ME".

or

(c) Whenever the cart has a magazine, with a "SCARY" armageddon, destruction type picture on its cover, you run over to the Witnesses, manning the carts and scream, " I AM GOING TO SUE YOU, YOUR PICTURE OVER HERE, HAS GIVEN MY CHILD NIGHTMARES, AND HE/SHE CAN NO LONGER SLEEP AT NIGHT ", then point to any child walking by in the area, like thats the poor child in question, or bringing your own child works better.

*Please Note*- There can be all different variations of the above. Such as falling into the carts with hot coffee, to "spill" all over the literature. You can wear pre ripped clothing and walki into the cart, claiming the cart "ripped " your clothing, again, sueing is the only option. Fake blood, and severed body parts, can help for desired "effect", too. If the cart is in a less crowded area, perhaps driving your car, directly into the cart, would be your best option. Again, falling out of the car and screaming, that you will sue, is the only option. Using a car you planned on "junking" anyway, IS preferable, please do not use the wifes, family car, for this, (they dont like that).

i have been given a piece of birthday cake as it was his birthday yesterday!

will i be a human hot dog now?.....

this just got me thinking of all the stupidities of the watchtower teachings, someone very kindly offers you something as innocent as a slice of chocolate cake but we were supposed to turn it down because that peace of chocolate cake now had horns poking out the top of the chocolate frosting.

I think the true purpose the WTS, doesnt want people to be celebrating Birthdays, and holidays, is so they are not spending money on these occasions. Yes there is also the thought of not wanting them to enjoy things and be distracted, so they can continue to control the R&F, but the main reason comes down to MONEY.

Lets face it, if the members are not spending on Christmas, and Halloween, and Birthdays, and Easter baskets, and all the commercial aspects of these holidays, then its more money for the contribution box. Dont give it to your innocent children give it to us "chosen", old men in NY. We deserve it more, and thats what God wants.

Who Are Your Past Circuit Overseers? It's a small world..

i'm sure a lot of us actually know mutual people, as the co's relocate all over the country.. here's a few from the southeast us: (let me know if you recognize any names and post yours too please...).

I remember a brother Conti, from many years ago, probably over 30. Northeast, tri-state area. He was a monster. I can actually remember pioneer sisters, saying "i am scared of him". I was like 10 years old, and those comments still stay with me 30 years later, lol.

I remember when Conti was visiting for the week, and it was the Thursday night service meeting. he was up on the stage giving his talk, and there was a brother walking around, in the back of the hall. Mind you, this brother was a ministerial servant, and was DOING STUFF, for the meeting. Like either the sound, or getting some wires ready for the next part. In the CO's mind, HE SHOULD NOT BE DOING THIS, so i remember Bro Conti, stopping his talk, mid-talk, and saying, " I AM GOING TO WAIT TO CONTINUE, UNTIL THIS BROTHER SITS DOWN", and very loudly. The brother, who was involved, intensively with getting the equipment ready, in the back, is not even realising whats going on. So then Conti, literally, starts shaking the change in his pocket, louDER and LOUDER, until its at an absurd point. Now remember this is up on the stage, essentially stopping the meeting, dead in its tracks, to try and FORCE this brother, thru shame, to sit down, but mind you, the brother was doing his job, to get everything ready for the next part. It was ridiculous.

During this week that Conti was there, i happened to have the "luck" of working with him out in service. I was like 9 or 10 years old, my Dad was an Elder, so it was my "privilege" to work with him. Well at one door, Conti read the householder a scripture, and then asked him a question about the scripture, and the householder answered the question wrong. Conti then proceeded to tell the householder, "no you are wrong, see you arent even paying attention, Gods kingdom will be on EARTH, as it is in heaven".

What a psycho, you go to someones house, on a Saturday, wake them up, bother them, and instead of them kicking you off their stairs, they listen to your Bullshit, AND then you berate them for not knowing/answering your bullshit questions right. Looking back, its actually sick behavior.

this issue contains the study articles for february 29 to april 3, 2016.. what about the number of those partaking at the memorial?12, 13. why should we not worry about the number of those who eat the bread and drink the wine at the memorial?12 in recent years, we have seen an increase in the number of those partaking at the memorial of christs death.

that trend contrasts with the decrease in the number of partakers that we saw for many decades.

I LOVE, how they say " this special operation of holy spirit, becomes, a down payment, a GUARANTEE".

If its a GUARANTEE from Jehovah, then how can there be "question", whether some are authentic, or have mental issues, or not?

If this was, what is perhaps the MOST IMPORTANT decision in the history of humanity, the universe, and all that is, and ever will be, then WTF, would Jehovah allow there to be any misconstruing of it.

If Jehovah, CAN annoint someone by holy spirit, then i GUARANTEE, he can make sure someone does NOT feel annointed by a false feeling, Think about it folks.

Does anybody know if the WTS, invests in the 2 companys of Lockheed Martin & Grumman Northrop, which are 2 of the biggest weapons suppliers?

i read in another thread, where it said that the wts, has investments from stocks, with the companys of lockheed martin and grumman northrop.

these are some of the biggest weapons suppliers to the us,uk, and israel.

i would think it would be very hypocritical for a christian organisation, that claims to be nuetral, and to "learn war no more", to invest money in companys that produce weapons, that are used in wars.. is this true, though?

in that time the magazines have been cut, the birth of jwtv, jw-org.

carts for preaching, removed district overseers, cut assemblies, demand all the money from the congregations, stop construction and layoff bethelites, change the format of the tmschool .

@ - Vidiot - You may very well be correct, idk. Maybe they are afraid of what ex-JW's can expose, if they come back. Or that they could be a bad "influence". For an org, that preaches so much love, and that they are the truth. They sure alienate and hurt, so many. They have no clue what they are doing. Even from a standpoint of, having more could mean more growth, more donations, more hearts reached, but NO, they cant even do that right. As quickly as some are brought thru the front door, is as quickly as they are kicked out thru the back door. They are idiots.

@ - Onefingersalute - Dude, i cant beleive that PO said that to you, or made a point to say it, via the "local needs" talk. What an unloving, judgemental, self-righteous, piece of SHIT. Talk about going against EVERYTHING that Jesus stood for. I had, an almost eerily similar, situation with my piece of shit Elders. They treated my 20 year old self, like i was worthless, and anything i had to say meant nothing. I couldnt have been repentant, in their eyes, they pre-judged my situation. In fact, i told them i was sorry, and that my actions proved repentance. They didnt care, and actually compared me to JUDAS, by saying, "oh well he repented too, after his act". What pieces of shit these MEN are, i have such anger, and hatred for them sometimes, for how they treat fellow humans.

Adjusting

just feel like i could never make it on the outside world.

i was never able to adjust, except in being a mom and in business.

those are the only things that i feel strong in.

I agree with Millie. Really, you got the top 2 things, covered great. Being a Mom/parent, should be your first priority, and it sounds like you are doing great with that. Being succesfull in business, WOW, thats awesome, and quite an accomplishment. That one is usually number 2 on peoples list, some, without children, would say its number 1.

Maybe, you are having issues making friends. Well, just apply the skills you used to become a good Mom, and a good business person. It may come naturally, after that.

If its spirituality, that you are looking for, or not having an easy time adjusting too, that may be a bit harder, but it can be figured out. Thats part of everyones own personal journey. You should never let the org/GB, dictate what your spirituality is. Its between you and Jehovah, or you and the universe, or you and your own peace inside.

Dont be so hard on yourself, you are probably doing fine. Yes, we can always do better, but we have to take it one step at a time. Even 8 years, is not neccessarily a long time, in the scheme of life. If you accomplished being a great Mother, and a powerhouse in business, in 8 years of being "out", you should COMMEND yourself, and be PROUD.
