Swan has got it right. Rich is a matter of consciousness. So is poor. Jesus knew what he was talking about when he said,"the poor will always be with us". The truth is that we all have a rich Father.

Confuzious
But the truth is the society has told us the truth about the condition of the dead, the truth about Hell, about living in paradise...
What makes you believe that the WTS has told you the truth about the condition of the dead and living in paradise? They may have told you what you wanted to hear, but how do you know it is the truth? Since they are wrong about so many other things and have prophisised falsely for many, many years, why do you think they are telling the truth about this?

WHAT SHUD HAPPEN TO THE PILOTS..........
by Mary inwhat do you think should happen to the two american pilots who fired on and killed the 4 canadians over in afganistan last year in the friendly fire incident?
this is a hard one.
as a canadian, i fully support the usa and obviously this disaster was not intentional and i'm sure the pilots must feel awful about it.

I doubt very much that the pilots were ordered to take the "Go Pills". They were probably optional. I always refused to take them and I was never banned from a mission because someone else would have to be scheduled or the mission cancelled, something commanding officers don't want to happen. Sometimes the amount of intel data given aircrew is so voluminous that it is difficult to get through it in a reasonable amount of time. The fact that the Canadians were conducting "live fire" exercises should have been a special briefing item. I still think the pilots used poor judgement in dropping the bomb(see my post above)and should be severely reprimanded or perhaps given Article15 punishment, but court martial?

Yerusalem is right! This is a classic case of intelligence breakdown. In Nam I found almost 300 troops in a free fire area sitting around campfires. I could have easily killed all of them as we were equipped with 20 mm Vulcan Cannons which could fire accurately at 6000 rounds per minute. I had been briefed that there were no friendlies in that area. It seems that the CIA and the DIA(Defense Intelligence Agency) weren't talking to each other. Since their behavior was not typical of the enemy, we withheld fire. A few minutes later a panicky voice came over Guard Channel with a Hold Fire order. I came close to assaulting an young Lt. Intel Officer when I got back to base. The ones to be courtmartialed should be the Intel Officers. Command and Control seems to have been deficient as well. That having been said, I think the pilots exercised poor judgement in presuming the fire was directed at them. It is virtually impossible to distinguish between friendly and enemy fire unless you hear the shrapnel hitting the skin of your airplane. Speed may have been a factor. I refused to take it when I was flying because I didn't like the effect it had on me. When I was on active duty, Go Pills were optional, not mandatory.

The answer to point #2 is simple. Money. Artifacts such as the tablet are quite valuable. That is why excavators at archaelogical sites are either closely supervised or searched at the end of the day.

The WTS isn't the only religious teaching that holds out the possibility of immortality. Most of the world's religions teach that we are immortal beings currently inhabiting a flesh body on a very temporary basis. Moreover, they teach that it is our birthright and is ours without all the pre-conditions that the WTS requires. I don't know if there will be an amagedon, but I'm confident that I will survive the experience. As A Course in Miracles puts it, "God Himself is incomplete without you".

August is even hotter than July all over the USA. If you can manage to make it in June, the weather will be more tolerable. Aluminutty is right about bus and train travel not being up to European standards. The northwest is nice all summer long. I heard the Eman is coming to Florida in April and Little toe in March. Don't bite off more than you can chew. The USA is a huge place. I do hope that you will have Dallas/Ft. Worth on your agenda.

July is not a good month to come to Texas, but we would be glad to see you if you come to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I think Valis has a map showing where all of us live. Bus travel is the cheapest way to travel, but it is the last refuge of the "great unwashed" and, as has been mentioned, the terminals are not always in the best parts of town. Train travel might be more pleasant; You can't begin to see the USA in a month, but you can make a start. The best part of any country is the people and you already have many, many friends here. I would be pleased to show you the local sights if you come this way. Are you coming alone?

I smoked for 30 years before I finally gave it up about 17 years ago. I know what you are going through. I dreamed I was smoking for almost a year. You will be amazed at how much better you feel. Your really good friends will tell you how much better you smell. Congratulations! Hang in there. Everyday you don't smoke is a major victory.
