The Daniel book is speculative, arrogant, and seemingly overly complex if you try to reconcile it with the actual bible book of Daniel. Waste of an hour every week for 10 months

I am confused because there are also scriptures that prove that in the very least Jesus christ is diety. Somebody has to right about this, what I want to know is why the WT is the only "religion" to create its own bible of recent times that disagrees so much with other translations on this issue. John 1:1....... etc, etc.

Evolution is the perfect theory because it can never be proven. None of us is going to be around 1 million + years from now to actually see the aluminum, coloring, high fructose corn syrup, cola flavoring, water, and carbonic acid form a can of pepsi on its own. Yet evolutionists can talk you to death about how over millions of years we came into existance from microbes all by chance but they can't really prove it can they. IMHO neither creation nor evolution can be proven without reasonable doubt.

Stilla at least you offer a balanced point ov view and I respect that. I think if an individual was a JW and really tried to live the life of one they would have the benefits you speak of. Problem is there are many JWs in name only these days so that good benefit is often lost. To me it wasnt the worst either since I have my wife and children that I wouldnt have otherwise.

Thanks for the informative post. Since becoming mentally free from the WTS all I can say is that they clearly are trying to skew the bible and the scarce historical evidence about Jesus to fit their own doctrines. That Trinity brochure is just horribly written and the references quoted out of context. I am on the fence with the whole trinity issue but I am open minded to either point of view, though its clear the WT is up to something fishy here.

I have been treated like sh*t because I am an elder and the PO thinks he is an apostle and the other elders kiss his anus while I dont.
hehe i hope thats how its spelt.. if you had family members that were elders did you ever notice the paranoia they had????
or maybe its my dad in particular?????.
they things he accused me off was unbelievable, we were never allowed to do anything to ruin his standing as an elder.
There are "religious fanatics" in every religion, not all elders are like that.
