Johnny Cochran was a great lawyer and a good person, despite some publicized morality issues. He was an important fighter in the fight for civil rights and he will be missed by many.
As for the individual on this thread who characterized Mr. Cochran as a "cockroach," notice that I don't even remember your name? That's because you are a nothing in comparison to the decedent you so tastelessly chose to disparage.
Another poster suggested that Mr. Cochran's death is some sort of penalty for "the horrible sin of helping OJ get away with murder." Johnny Cochran didn't help OJ get away with murder; rather, the prosecution failed to carry its burden of proving beyond a reasonable doubt that he did commit the murder. Mr. Cochran did an admirable and competent job of representing OJ, who, despite his celebrity status, is entitled to a lawyer just like any other criminal defendant facing trial.

Hearsay is an out-of-court statement offered in court for its truth. Clearly, my comments don't qualify as "hearsay," notwithstanding your effort to characterize them as such. Additionally, for your information, the information I posted was excerpted from ap news, a news source that is not known for spreading "rumor."
Apparently, you know more about this matter than those who are witnesses and/or parties to the case; hence your characterization of such statements as "emotionalist hearsay" and part of a "smear campaign."
Michael Schiavo, an admitted adulterer with bastard offspring, needs no smearing. His despicable efforts to starve and dehydrate his wife, whom he has been disloyal to, are the cause of his subhuman reputation.
