That song describes my life's quest. Once I find what I am looking for my life will be over.
for me it was bible reading, where you could express your own opinion, in line with present truth of course.. pre the change it was awful listening to some fool telling you his opinion of bible highlights.

there were gasps after watching this.
i heard the anti college talks at the dc this year, and while many people i know didnt agree with them, this following video stunned many of them.
there are many people on this forum, many have gotten to where they are many different ways.
From recent observation I see a lot of witnesses that are not heeding the advice. I know of more than a few children and adults going to school despite the admonition against education.
May be that is why they have to be so hard-line.

I was an elder in a Florida congregation. Because of the number of retired individuals in Florida we had over 10 elders. I think at one time it was 12. We had an average of 120 publishers.
That changed over time because eventually the congregation split. The growth we saw was not from field service but rather from transients moving from the cold north to the warmer Florida climate.
so i challenged myself to see how long i could stay away... no big goodbyes or announcements.... and now i am back - i managed about 9 days and 23 hours... .
That is unbelievable. I could never stay away for nine days. I hope you learned your lesson.

I began my fade about the time of the inception of the internet. Although we are talking pre-netscape days. I was able to find some good sites. I did not like H20. It was too hard to navigate and the discussions were a little too heavy for my little mind.
BTW, are the H2O files archived somewhere? It would be interesting to re-live some of those threads.
