Don't forget the "Green Handshakes " in the congregation as well. Since my father was an oil exce he was giving the Brothers money and we where treated like kings. That all changed when my father was asked for more favors.

New rules for inactive ones?
by Lynnie inhave the rules changed as far as disfellowshipping inactive ones when it's clear they are engaged in "wrongdoing?".
i have a cousin in seattle who was disfellowshipped about 3 years ago or so and then went through the process of being reinstated (took only 6 months) and then proceeded to fade and do nothing regarding the jw's .
fast forward to today and now she's had a baby out of wedlock and the uber jw elder father and mother are all on board somehow.

Fading is the Best option. They don't need a reason or a letter. They will twist things no matter what reason you give. Just stop all activity. Don't give any reason and don't talk to them.

Longhairgal- This young brother interested in one on of my sisters was such a brown nose to my parents and me being the older brother. He would not last long in our family. We work from sun up to sun down till 2am sometimes. Everyone works. We play hard too. But yes if we were average the Jw's would have Nothing to do with us.

There also a flip side to that. My family and I have faded. We have businesses and the Jw's just seem to come out and want stuff from us. Jobs or money and even one joker after my sister which she wasn't having no part of that. For awhile we where shunned. What has happened is hard to say?

You can [not] trust the Brothers, wt study this week
by waton infor the lucid lurkers: # 37. the article's examples really show, that among the 'name people' only 50 % of rank and file, and none of the leaders can be trusted all the time.
but, shut up and put up.. eli and hannah, eli's sons committed gross sins, raping/ seducing woman visitors to the temple, for years, yet naive worshippers are to trust their brothers, even with their children ?
inaction by wt approved?

Longhairgal- I could agree with you there. With the Borg asking the members to give and give. It is no surprise they hit up people who they feel are well to do for cash. I had one brother come into our business an preach, then go into a triad how he and his family needs money. I asked him why are you here instead of working for a wage? And instead of giving Watchtower your money first, take care of your family first. Instead of coming to me I can't help you.

This one Elder I have working for me. He is so arrogant and lazy. What is sad is there is not yet I can fire him on. I may cut his hours and see if that gets him to just quit. The other two Jw's working for me( MS'S) work good. I will make them part of the company. Not a good example for the MS'S.

Longhairgal- I have been out for 20 years as well. It is not what it use to be. And the Jdubs I do talk to are worn out and dumb down. Very sad shape.

Most of the Elders I have run ins with are Dishonest and Con-Man. Not all of them, but the ones I have done business with. And I have alot to say for the arrogant elder who works for me. He is not very honest and not a stand up guy.

Does praying for “all those who are in positions of authority,” include the 'deep state' and all subsequent coverup's?
by was a new boy indefinition of deep state.
: an alleged secret network of especially nonelected government officials and sometimes private entities (as in the financial services and defense industries) operating extralegally to influence and enact government policy.
the power of the deep state comes from experience, knowledge, relationships, insight, craft, special skills, traditions, and shared values.

The more I think about it, I think Watchtower is very much involved in the Deep State Movement. With they Commie Pinky Ideals, just doesn't surprise me.
