I honestly feel that Watchtower may claim to have 8 million Jw's worldwide. But I think if you minus the Pimo's from the super uber dubs there would be less then 2 million or less then that.

Rates of PIMOs in bethel as apposed to R&F
by joe134cd inwith all the bethel leaks.
i started to think about the levels of pimos with in bethel as apposed to the rank and file.
would there be higher rates of pimos bethel due to seeing the more unsavoury side of it.

I use to find llyod a good source. But after all this I now question his credibility. Kim and Mikey seem to more of an authority on Watchtower in my opinion. Off course, others that are good too.

"Jehovah God"
by Jeffro inthe expression "jehovah god" has always seemed strange to me.
even when i was a jw, i found the term awkward, and never used it myself.
both words are nouns intended to be synonyms of each other, unless the name "jehovah" is being used as an adjective, which is also weird.

When I was in I would hear super righteous at the hall comment or prey " Geehovah this Geehovah that" using the name 50 million times in on setting. What a kiss ass. I'm sure if God was listening he would be annoyed.

WHEN is the Kingdom of God coming?
by Fisherman inwhen is the kingdom of god coming?.
on being asked by the pharisees when the kingdom of god was coming, he answered them: “the kingdom of god is not coming with paratherisis; 21 nor will people say, ‘see here!’ or, ‘there!’ for look!
the kingdom of god is in your midst.” —lu 17:20,21. .

Are Jehovah’s Witnesses softening their view of Faders?
by Darkknight757 inso my in-laws actually went out to dinner with us today.
normally, since leaving in 2016, they wouldn’t eat with us or talk much to me.
(since i did convince their daughter to leave the cult).

I would be very careful and interested as to why Watchtower would want the contact information of those who faded/DF'd via relatives makes me ask what are they up to? And why?

A long conversation with mom
by Foolednomore inmy mom has been on the fence for awhile.
she has done a laundry list for watchtower.
so i asked her, would you continue to invest in a company that promises outrageous dividends but never delivers?

I have mom living with me at the villa. And no one can just walk on in. I have control of her finances which she wanted me to take control since she has dementia. Her care person is aware of the sneaky Jw's and how I don't want them around mom. After all, all they want is money. But from time to time when she is at the bakery some Jw's would start talking to her, but my sister comes in and tells mom that all they want is money.

My mom has been on the fence for awhile. She has done a laundry list for Watchtower. So I asked her, would you continue to invest in a company that promises outrageous dividends but never delivers? She She said no. It would be foolish. I asked her to think of time, energy, and yes money spent on Watchtower and all the promises. And still nothing. You're getting older and near death. She has come to the conclusion that Watchtower is a waste.

Worship study this week
by road to nowhere insince i need to keep up for family's sake i "study"(skim, its not deep).
worship: pray, study ( wt), go to meetings ( formal, not gathering 2 or 3), preach.
thrn add helping build halls, donating, and since donations go one way only, give material aid to others.. note construction time isn't for service,( but i may have turned in time for it).

I feel bad for anyone who has to be in this terrible cult for family. I had to fake it for awhile ( from 16 years of age to 22) once I got free, I was free. My brother followed and some of my sisters. My mom is still in but hangs on but has doubts, which is good. Keep working on yourself and stay positive.

The JW's greatest dogma...
by BoogerMan in....that god almighty/jesus personally selected j.f.
rutherford & wtbts inc. as a front for worldwide christianity, is an affront to worldwide christians.. the adage, “extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence” was made for such spurious assertions.. as with jw's who claim, "jehovah answered my prayer for......," both claims rely on total credulity, and zero evidence of divine intervention.

The Watchtower does it and even it's members do it. Countless articles in their magazines of stories that can't be verified. But even on the local level. My brother and I own an auto repair shop. One pioneer sister on a platform lied and made such an outrageous story how her car was repaired by Geehovah. Little does the audience know she had the money to pay for the the repairs but thought we owed her one since she pioneered.
