  Why do elders thump the table?

  mrs ozzie and i had a very pleasant visit yesterday to a lady who has plenty of questions as she seeks the truth about 'the troof'.. she told us that as a young 18 year old she commenced regular pioneering and has many memories of her time in the borg.

  now in her early 60s she has many questions.

  her well-marked and well-used nwt bears testimony to her earnestly seeking of the truth.. she told us that not too long ago she invited the presiding overseer and the visiting c.o.

  who is your favorite super hero?

  when i was young i used to love reading comic books and still have a collection.the marvel commics were always my favorite.although i liked alot of the different characters i would have to say spiderman was my favorite .i can't wait to see the movie it looks so cool from the previews.so common i know some of ya are into comics ,let's have it whose your favorite super hero or villian?

  Ex-Witness singles?

  you know, i'm somewhat shocked that there's no kind of singles area of the site.

  how great would it be (for me, at least) to find a great ex-witness lady?

  i guess no one is too worried about it though.

  My son contemplates suicide.

  my 14 year old son, benjamin, confided in me last night that he almost tried to commit suicide this week, he felt so low.. he has been brought up as a jw by his mum all his short life and until recently totally believed all the crap.

  although he has not been baptised yet he expressed the desire to pioneer and go to bethel.. then, in the past few months, he suddenly woke up and smelt what he was shovelling.. my son is an extremely gregarious, likable boy with lots of friends in the congregation.

  he is always invited to the get-togethers etc.

  As others have said, have him talk to a profesional.

  Explain to him that it doesn't mean he's crazy, but sometimes talking to someone will help ease the stress he's under.

  This is a perfect example of the JW unity.
  Forced to stay in line no matter what the consequences.
  Emotional blackmail.

  And this is what the WTS calls Gods Orginization.

  It makes me sick.

  i am in the process of writing a manuscript on the subject of the four methods of measuring the reliabiliy of human judgement and the reliability of psychological tests.

  it occured to me several years ago, that there was a mistake in the way measurement error was being calculated.
