  What will happen?

  reading voltaires post about his mom not shunning him got me thinking.. i'm sure there will be other parents as well as siblings that see the falicy of the wts teaching that parents must shun their children if the wts demands it.. but what do you think will happen if the wts decides to make examples out of those parents that would dare not blindly follow the wts directions?.

  what will happen if the wts starts dfing the parents that will not shun their children?.

  as we are finding out, the wts wants even those that are not df or da'd shunned.. that's obvious from the acounts of those that are being shunned even tho they are not df or da'd.. so what do you think will happen when the wts realizes that they don't have complete control of their followers and some of them (gasp) are continuing having a relationship with their children even tho they may for whatever reason not be a practicing jw?.

  Schilbolets' claim

  out of respect for barbara pandelo and family i wanted to put this in a new thread.. i'm not trying to 'feed the trolls' but i feel something needs to be said in reguard to schilbolets claim that the wts is gods annointed servant.. first of all, there are many religions claiming to be gods representitives.. all of them have fallen flat on their faces trying to prove that claim to be true.. schilbolet has stated that the pandelos are going against god.. " but you have decided to turn against that arrangement, similarly as how miriam turned against moses, her flesh brother.

  she might have been right in her critic of moses, but it wasn't her place to speak against jehovah's annointed servant.

  do you honestly think that jehovah has closed his eyes to the abuse of children?

  The Talk

  does anyone remember the talk given at the kh where the speaker was saying that the bible is an orginization book?.

  that the bible can only be interpreted by the "faithful slave"?.

  that it wasn't meant to be for the ordinary person, so the only way we'll uderstand it is if we listen to the "slave".. now this was only a couple of yrs.

  Good News

  matt.24:14. this good news will be preached in all the earth and then the end will come.. we have all remembered that verse,studied that verse and preached that verse.. the wts uses that verse to keep the jws going door to door.. of course,the wts also says we (everyone on earth)must become a jw in order to have gods favor.. i was having a discussion with a born again christian and he said the good news that is to be preached is about jesus having come and having been put to death for our transgressions.

  so that we can now aproach god on the basis of the sacrifice.

  in the name of jesu christ.. the wts says the good news to be preached is about the kingdom that is to come.. what do you think the good news that jesus spoke of is?.

  What are the reasons?

  hi all,.

  someone asked me the other day why i am so interested in reading about jws,ex jws and things that are going on with the wts.. i think for the most part,only those who have been involved with the wts can understand why we are so interested in the subject.. of course having believed everything the wts has told us over the years and dedicating our lives to it kept us tied in with them.. what are the different reasons that you all have for continuing to be preocupied with the wts?.
