1 Corinthians 4:6 "Do not go beyond what is written"
That is all they do these days. The whole Imitate Their Faith book is all speculation, making up what happened, drawing crazy conclusions and the such.
Its much worse today than ever!
it never hit me until i was out.

the new midweek meeting has been running for a month now.
here are my thoughts on how it is going so far:.
1) elders are looking frazzled from being on virtually every meeting and having to prepare unfamiliar formats for items.

Yes I agree with all your points. From a JW point of view - it's a train wreck. It is SO boring!! The new "school" is completely pointless, and will be completely repetitive and boring. What a bad idea. Having the bookstudy at the end is like putting a knife in the gut. You are already 1/2 asleep, and now you still have a 1/2 of the most boring part.
Our attendance is not good.
'granular' seems to be the latest buzz word going around my office.
previously it was 'appetite'.. abstract words that appear to be designed to make the person saying it appear powerful and part of the 'team'.. as lord sugar has observed before; why not just speak english and say what you mean.. office jargon really annoys me.
i had enough loaded language and jargon in the disgusting jw cult..
How about:
You could see jehobers Hand In The Matter.
Or
I left it in gods hands.
have you heard that old chestnut?
i have.. typically it's the last resort when you have dismantled a jws beliefs and they have no way of defending them.
they know they are beat so they come out with that one.. its effectively an admission that you are right and they have no argument but they are still going to attend meetings because they like the social club.. what a lame way to defend your faith..
We once had a district overseer (seemed like a really nice guy -down to earth) who at an assembly talked about that.
He said if it NOT the truth - it is NOT the best way to live because it would be a lie. BOY WAS HE RIGHT!
okay, i'm about to engage in a major word vomit.
just giving you fair warning as your time may be better spent somewhere else.. so, i'm sitting on my lunch break, bawling my eyes out, and writing on this forum to people i don't know yet probably have a great deal in common with but at the same time, used to scare the daylights out of me.
for years, i would come across this forum and 'lurk' awhile if you will, or see things on youtube.

observing our local unemployed pioneers and how long they take to get to their first or next call, usually taking the longest route to get to one they know won't be there anyway.
along the way it's gossipy this and that.
pioneers?
Most of our pioneers are old, don't get their time, and the young ones don't get their time.
NO ONE is pressured to stop anymore - unlike me when I had to get 90hrs in and was struggling to try to do that and make a few bucks to keep off the streets.
I bet the hr requirement will drop again - as will the Aux hrs - since they are hemorrhaging Aux Pios now.
how honest are the proponents of evolution?
idk but curious to see what type of response there is on a topic like this or does their study only seek to confirm their preconceptions and ignore uncomfortable facts?
This might help to clarify one of the STUPIDEST challenges you hear about Evolution at the KH.
It's just a theory... VOMIT!!
In everyday usage, "theory" often refers to a hunch or a speculation. When people say, "I have a theory about why that happened," they are often drawing a conclusion based on fragmentary or inconclusive evidence.
The formal scientific definition of theory is quite different from the everyday meaning of the word. It refers to a comprehensive explanation of some aspect of nature that is supported by a vast body of evidence.

Extremely honest. There are literally hundreds of millions of pieces of evidence you can find in the major museums alone. The Natural History Museum in DC has over 50 million pieces themselves.
But the smoking gun if you will is the irrefutable DNA evidence that just can't be ignored.
