  Blood Cards on File with the Elders?

  i have a question for elders here or recent elders.

  were the elders, in the last 10 years, given instruction to keep a copy of every publishers blood card on file at the kh?.

  we moved to our current cong 6 years ago, and shortly after we moved in, the boe requested everyone update and give a copy of card to the kh.

  We never had copies of Blood Cards kept by elders, and I have never seen a letter to that?

  Blood cards are signed and witnessed, no one has ever been asked to sign 2 and give one to the elders?

  Also remember all Growth should be measured agains general population growth. All the numbers from the last few years really suck, especially when you factor in the TIME SPENT.

  A few years ago I have a mid week talk and I mentioned the decline in baptisms since the peak in the 90s, and how much more time it takes to make 1 convert from service. I was just going over the yearbook stats to show the situation and the importance of being a real teacher. OMG people were stunned. Its really like they are drones, they were not even aware of the stats in the yearbook that they all love so much.

  On the Yearbook's Report(Again)

  hello.

  i have a question about the number of publishers reported on the yearbook.

  i was wondering if this number refers only to the number of publishers baptized or to the overall number of publisher(baptized & not baptized).

  Yes both - thats why its impossible to actually figure out how many witness there are, how many have been DFed. It makes all the stats mirky. A healthy percent of those publishers are young kids.

  Steve2, actually there was an article that talked about it. It mentioned that even though that is increasing, the end is still very soon. I dont remember which one but it was not long ago.
