What ISN'T there is a link to the ACTUAL QUESTION THE ARTICLE IS SUPPOSED TO HELP WITH.What evidence is there of his (god's) existence?
Now for someone looking to BUILD FAITH in a god, wouldn't that be the 1st priority to learn about? For surely why would someone care about "his purpose" or if a "cares about me" if he has not established clearly that there really is a god?
The real reason for this omission is that the WT has never (nor has anyone else) provided real proof that he, she, it exists.
Proof is not, well the scriptures say he exists, it's not - well we live in an unlikely universe, it's not that there are 5000 kinds of apples (wondering if anyone gets that reference), it's not that man is doing a bad job therefore there must be a god who will step in, it's not I don't understand evolution so there must be a god.
Proof is proof, not a desire to want something to be real.
I don't believe that the earth is a sphere, it is. I don't believe that there is gravity, it is. I don't believe that 2 + 2 = 4, it is!
All the above if challenged can be proven easily all the time. It's not like Holy Spirit that only works when it works.Once again, the WT uses the old shell game tactics in their literature.

It is 5am and I still can't sleep. Contemplating life, doing research on religion, world history, science...
by Stepford Wife inmy husband is still asleep but he will get up in about an hour for work so i'm going to quickly tell you my inconclusive conclusion.
i don't know if i can believe in god anymore.
i have come to the simple conclusion that he is either dead or evil but he is definitely not loving.

What you don't believe that gods MASTER PLAN - and his PERFECT CREATIONS could all be flummoxed by a Talking Snake saying 47 words - plunging the Heavens and over 100 Billion humans into disaster, pain, sorrow and death, to culminate in the last 7 billion people being turned into Human Hot Dogs by none other than Tony Morris just because they could not come up with the right interpretation of a "not that old" Confusing, Contradictory, Misogynistic, Slave promoting, Unscientific book of fairy tales, including one about Ed the talking Donkey?All I have to say is - Ye of little faith.

Have you read the simplified? Not a big difference. Just publish 1 and get it over with. Not many Princeton Grads in the Org that will be upset at cutting out a few 3 syllable words out of article.
And - by the way - if you have to make literature studied at the Meeting simple for people who can't read well, isn't that a WARNING about who you attract, and how the WT is NOT a teaching org?
Also not many years ago it was made know that they put Hard words (by Jdub standards) in the WT and you should use a dictionary and expand your reading and comprehension ability.

How did you feel when they eliminated the Con. Book Study?

it was my favorite meeting by far.
mainly because it was a small group.

I felt like it was a mistake. It was built as SO important for all my life. I also thought it was a loss because it was a training ground for MS and Elders.
After a few months I was SOOOO Happy to have an Extra Night to myself!!
