Wonderment, is the review something you have written yourself, or is it published somewhere else? If the latter, what is the source and author?
Thanks
review of daniel b. wallace’s greek grammar.
daniel b[aird] wallace is professor of new testament, and author of greek grammar beyond the basics, a work first published by zondervan corporation in 1996. his work has since become a standard work in the intermediate koine greek field and has been translated into half a dozen languages.
it is said two-thirds of bible colleges today that teach the subject use the textbook.

unbelievable news: they've actually built a kingdom hall, and it was thanks to jehovah!!!!.
https://www.jw.org/en/news/jw/region/canada/kingdom-hall-completed-in-canadas-place-of-many-fish/.
“from the logistics of getting the construction materials to the far north, to navigating how to solve unexpected supply problems, nothing could stand in jehovah’s way.
as many probably remember, in 2018-2020, multiple kingdom and assembly halls were set on fire in the state of washington, so fbi, atf, local sheriff and arson alarm foundation offered $61,000 in rewards for information leading to arrest of the arsonist.
the attacks (seven arsons and one shooting) included:.
march 19, 2018: two arson attacks - one at a tumwater kingdom hall and the second at a kingdom hall on cain road in olympia.
Thankfully no one was physically injured.
Amen to that.
It is a sad time in the world when almost every week we hear about a mass shooting by some deranged person, sometimes with an agenda and sometimes with no known reason. At least this person just damaged some property and no one was caught in harm's way.
while disfellowshipping was doubled down on and reinforced during the time of raymond franz, it definitely existed before that when needed and fits right in with rutherford's personality.
here's an account of norman woodworth who left for dawn bible students, and his proto-judicial committee.
all the modern hallmarks of apostasy trials are there, from the witch-hunt nature to the big all-important gotcha question at the end:.

w13 7/15 p. 20 “who really is the faithful and discreet slave?” revealed it was a bunch of guys in new york, back in 1919.. the apostle paul must have been un-inspired when he wrote this back in the 1st century:.
(1 corinthians 4:1, 2) “a man should regard us [all christians/paul, apollos & peter?

3.1415926535807932384626433i used to be able to go to a hundred from memory.
my son and daughter can do so.age 75 has cheated me a bit in this regard.what sort of things have you memorized (whether useful or useless)?i can recite the entire rime of the ancient mariner to this day, btw.there are many so-called tricks for remembering things that can be easily learned and i've read all or most of those books.the amusing thing about such memory is this: nobody cares!
"why do you need to memorize when you can just use your iphone?sigh...i memorized the periodic table of elements one day at work.
In my teens I read The Memory Book, by Harry Lorayne and Jerry Lucas. I spent a lot of time working on it and got to where I could amaze the school teachers by memorizing population of states, and pointless stuff like that. I found it to be a LOT of work and mental energy. Ultimately not really necessary. However, to this day I still use the technique of assigning letters to numbers, converting the number to a word, and remembering the number as a word. It helps in recalling an address, SS number, things like that.
i have started posting my latest work “the children of aquarius,” an urban fantasy, on amazon’s kindle vella program.
i expect to publish about one episode per week.
the first three episodes will be free.
Good luck!
for those of you who still respect the bible, which translation/s are you using now?
why?.
i am not sure how you all feel as we all left at different times for different reasons.... but this new bible seems to have put some final nails into a coffin that was once my jw life.
the religion is so far and so different to the religion i grew up in that it has become something i feel no affiliation with anymore, no bond, no shared ideas or even sentimental views.
different teachings on when the end is coming.

I always had an issue with the old NWT 'mental regulating' in Eph 6:4. Besides the connotations of mind control, the Greek just didn't support the NWT reading. The translator really used his imagination to justify the 'mental regulating' wording. Most other translations simply rendered it 'admonition', and when the 2013 NWT returned to 'admonition', I was glad to see it.
yes, that is an actual question in the awake magazine.
jw kids lives are already miserable enough trying to obey all the ignorant rules of the wt.. no sports, no school dance, no holidays.... just field service.
as if that isn't enough.... let's take away their puppy dogs too!.
kites, windchimes, chess, movies, music, drinking too much, drinking too little, you name it. The WT has come out against just about everything at some point or other
