  It’s started COBE asking all appointed men if they are fully vaccinated

  there is a huge problem now in all congregations as the gb stubbornly will not do the u turn on staying fully vaccinated that many hoped they would do.. all congregations around the world the cobe has to ask all ministerial servants and elders if they are fully vaccinated (meaning no more than six months since last shot).

  there is a massive problem now with many many jdubs not getting their latest boosters and not wanting to stay fully vaccinated .

  but more serious than that is how the gb painted themselves into a corner with these vaccine mandates.. most governments did a u turn on the vax mandates but the gb can’t get out of this one so easily .

  The vaccine requirements are for “theocratic schools” only. Things like the pioneer school, elders school (5 day and 1 day), etc.
  if it doesn’t have “school” in the title, a vaccine is not required.

  This is true, but CoBE were indeed told to inquire of all appointed men. Like all things, they probably didnt understand that this pertained to the limited scope of theocratic schools

  i was wondering if some who may have been in the judgement seat ( so to speak ) had a wake-up call while judging someone who was defending leaving jw.

  ( or maybe it was from reading a letter of disassociation.

  one of the last i was on; 15 or 16 yo girl, having regular sex with her worldy boyfriend. I was determined not to disfellowship her. My reasoning was she was a minor and kids do dumb things and make dumb decisions. But it was inevitable- she didnt want to remain a JW. Her wish was granted.

  the cases that I was involved with never involved apostasy or doctrinal issues. I dealt my share of adulterers, fornicaters, smokers and at least one gambler

  I'm conflicted about these. While i'm no bleeding heart liberal, i've come to see these as human behaviours that are the result of some pain or trauma. Thinking about a specific case, how does disfellowshipping a young man, who's wife had died, for fornication help him? I think often there is something that they need help with that prayer and field service won't

  I think Dr Manhattan is about the best representation of god that i have seen. The Watchers does a great job in helping portray the all-knowing, all-seeing possibility along with the idea that god ISNT watching everything you do.

  Problem watchtower has is they can not remove DF arrangements. They be sued all over the world by ex jws.

  I just had this discussion with someone. If this is what dictates the decision, then you can NOT be a good person or organization. You quite literally have become the "evil slave"

  jw kids lives are already miserable enough trying to obey all the ignorant rules of the wt.. no sports, no school dance, no holidays.... just field service.

  as if that isn't enough.... let's take away their puppy dogs too!.

  question for those who either aux pioneered pioneered

  how many of you would have spent the hours "pioneering" if it weren't for the pats on the back and being looked up to as someone special in the congregation?

  i will admit that back in late 1970's i attempted to aux pioneer during a campaign because it was promoted and seemed the right thing to do,but i didn't get the hours and it was stressful trying to...and i didn't feel like a cheerful giver.

  i never attempted it again.

  I did it cuz it was the "right thing to do". My parents pushed it hard. I was a year or two late on the softening of the college WT article.

  I did two years as a regular auxiliary. I rarely hit my hours- No one worked past 3pm. No pioneers took me on a bible study. It was hellacious. There werent even any cute girl pioneers.

  i was brought up as a born-in(tm) here in the uk.

  it wasn't until i was 50 that the scales fell from my eyes, i woke up, got da'd from the cult and my wife was advised to leave me by the elders whom i had served with on the boe.

  one of which i know wanted to schtupf her.

  i too am 50. I've really come clean with my waking this year, but it did begin as long as 10 years ago.

  I dont know how much time has past since 50 for you, but it does seem like you are carrying a lot of anger. Perhaps that is when you are making a point, or and need to get your feelings out. I feel like i am moving past it already. Do you feel like your feelings have improved at all since waking?
