Death is a Terrible thing...
by KW13 inhas it sunk in for you people that your going to die yet?
i'm still avoiding the thought but it lurks in the back of my mind, i'm aware someday i've got to address it - like many here i didnt expect to live this far in this system, so i haven't any plan for life as of yet.. death frightens me.
i cannot sometimes watch a film with death of a character in a tragic way - there one moment with family/friends and a life and then not...i read the story about challenger the rocket that exploded and how the crew onboard that shuttle may well of been aware they were going to die.

I feel sorry for you. I had the some sort of trouble when I began recovering from the JW. When I was a child, I never thought I could die someday. In fact, the years 2000 and beyond seemed so far away for me that, I thought Armageddon would come long before that time but, in the meantime I was always feeling that Jehovah would not accept me. Always this feeling that I wasn't good enough. When you realize that everyone must die, you have to accept the absurdity of life. In fact, I think life by itself, is meaningless, you and only you can decide to give it a meaning.

Suicide
by Nicolas ini know it's a touchy subject, but anyone here has ever thought of suicide while they were still in the organization?
it seem to me that jehovah's witnesses have a much higher rate of suicide than the rest of the population.
i contemplated suicide myself when i was struggling to get piece of my life back together after being raised as a "perfect little jw" when i was young.

In my congregation (Canada, Quebec), there was at least three cases of "accidental death" with suspicious circomstances leading few people to believe it might be a suicide. The first was a lady who went missing for a few days. Finally, the police found her body floating in a river. The official story was that she fell in the water while she was going out for a walk but, it's kind of a mystery how can someone can simply fall in the water and get drowned like that especially when you are just out for a walk. The two other cases are from two brothers in the same family. The oldest brother died in an horrible "accident" when his car got traped under the trailer of a big truck. My father knew the driver of the truck and this driver said that he couldn't believe it was just an accident especially considering how he saw it happen. Few years after this person died, his young brother died too in a car "accident". It's really sad how an organization can messed up your life like that. I'm glad I'm out of this even if I still have hard days sometime.

It seem to me that Jehovah's Witnesses have a much higher rate of suicide than the rest of the population. I contemplated suicide myself when I was struggling to get piece of my life back together after being raised as a "perfect little JW" when I was young. Personnally, I suffered more from loneliness than from culpability and that's what brought to the point where I was contemplating suicide. Maybe this loneliness problem was aggravted by the fact that I'm an introverted and shy person and it was really hard for me to socialize, also I had a tendency to try to look like a victim instead of accepting the fact that I'm the only one person who can change my situation. Fortunately, I seeked help by a therapist when I was in the worst part of my "crisis" but, I don't think you can ever get to point where you're completly healed. Maybe, it's just my opinion but, I've been struggling for years and I'm still struggling to restore my self confidence. Anyway, I have to discipline myself to keep being positive

Can anybody prove this statement concerning the WT?
by needproof inindeed it was the rothschilds who funded the jehovah's witness operation into being, along with other bankers, through "contributions" by organisations like the rothschild-controlled b'nai b'rith.
this was proved in a court of law in 1922.

I found a lot of info concerning this here: http://www.politicalfriendster.com/showPerson.php?id=3740&name=llluminati but nothing that can be used as a real proof.

I read this book too and I thought it described really well the mania of the WBTS to control everything. It also described well what mind control is all about.

# ZIPLOC BAGS - male, because they hold everything in,but you can always see right through them.
# COPIER - female, because once turned off, it takes a while to warm up. It is an effective reproductive device when the right buttons are pushed. And it can wreak havoc when the wrong buttons are pushed.
# TIRE - male, because it goes bald and often is over inflated.
# HOT AIR BALLOON - male, because to get it to go anywhere you have to light a fire under it ... and, of course, there's the hot air part. # SPONGES - female, because they are soft and squeezable and retain water.
# HOURGLASS - female, because over time, the weight shifts to the bottom.
# HAMMER - male, because it hasn't evolved much over the last 5,000 years, but it's handy to have around.
# REMOTE CONTROL - female... Ha! You thought it would be male. But consider...it gives a man pleasure, he'd be lost without it, and while he doesn't always know the right buttons to push, he keeps trying. -
