  Did a Russian JW try to bribe to get JWs accepted as religious community?

  i wonder if this is going on in other european or eastern-block countries where jws are not liked too well.

  this document states that a jw was imprisoned for trying to bribe officials into accepting his congregation into the religious community.

  the quote is number 48 in the long list after the introduction at:.

  It is not uncommon for people in general (in those eastern-block nations) to offer "bribes" to the officals and local police-that was my observation while in Moldova. More often than not the "official" requests the bribe in order to expedite things and the general population has a choice to go along with it or face the "consequences."

  I would agree with Gamaliel -it was probably arranged and went wrong.

  Internet stalking..

  ...sounds wierd to me, has anyone here truely been affected by it or accused of it mistakenly?

  i imagine either is quite disturbing.. dang, i only play around on here and other sites, i enjoy the people who play back and we give as good as we get.

  but my intention is to never stalk anyone, so if anyone ever thinks i'm stalking some pretty lady, let me know and i'll back of before you can even say the words "acute paronia".. i'm a very happy married man, wouldnt trade my wife for the world.

  (for those of you haven't been beaten over the head with their relationship, i am refering to jennifer lopez and ben afleck).

  good news/bad news.

  first, the good news: the good news, at least as far as the watchtower's multitudinous enemies are concerned, is that the watchtower's days are definitely numbered.

  the bad news, as far as apostates should be concerned, is that the days for this present system, as we know it, are also of equally short duration.
