are there any gay ex-witnesses on here who were in special full-time service such as circuit work, bethelite, mts, or missionary work?

when and what country?

i was always told there were a lot gays in full-time service but it always felt very lonely.

Where does the Governing Body say "old light" comes from?

the governing body claims they've received "new light" from jehovah every time they change their doctrine.

so where did the "old light" come from that's being replaced?

if the old light is incorrect, could it have come from god?

Doesn't Matt. 24:45-47 prove that the Governing Body is NOT the "faithful and discreet slave"?

"the timely spiritual food we receive is proof that jesus, the head of the congregation, is keeping his promise to feed us.

when giving the sign of his presence, jesus said that he would use the faithful and discreet slave to give food at the proper time to his domestics.

Are homosexuals born that way? The March 15 Watchtower seems to say so.

15 one brother who was raised in a christian household wrote that for as long as he could remember, he struggled with homosexual tendencies.

he said: i always felt awkward.

it seemed that i didnt fit in anywhere.

Are there any Gilead or MTS graduates on this site? What helped you to see the light and leave?

i was a faithful witness for years, even graduating from the ministerial training school.

so much of what i learned at the school has already changed.

if that was food at the proper time and, according to the latest teachings of the governing body, is now all wrong -- basically lies -- was it really spritual food from god?

Isn't it hypocritical for the Governing Body to feature a biochemist in Awake! magazine but at the same time condemn higher education?

the january awake!

has an entire article about a woman, a molecular biochemist, who became a witness, and yet the watchtower leaders condemn and blacklist any of their members who get a college education.

i couldn't stop thinking about this as i read the article.
