my wife and i were talking about how religions claim to be directed by god, yet god never seemed to let any of them know about the danger of sexual predatora to children.

the it hit me, does the bible say anything on the subject?

Kingdom Hall Master Plan. - letter - Consolidation.

just seen reference to a recent letter read to congregations about this, anyone got more info please?.

Wondering, since they don't need as many Kingdom Halls as planned, if they will allow congregations to amend the amount being donated monthly.

Also is there any way to find out what what Kingdom Halls will be sold as compared to who holds the title?

I imagine the ones being sold might lean heavily toward one side or the other.

Would they want to sell the ones they have title or deed to or would they want to force the sale of the ones where the local body holds the title or deed?

Not sure which one would benefit the WTBTS better.

It was the only thing that crossed my mind at the moment. I agree with you now that it was inappropriate as it belittles the crime against the minor.

But I can't see a way to edit it or delete it and start over. If I had to do it over I would replace

"boinks" with "molest"

I stated that this is a JW known to me,.. although I live in an adjoining state, I know his story and YES he is a Jw. What more do you need?

What I'm saying is that the Jws always want to let it be known to the high heavens that "we don't go to a church, we attend the Kingdom Hall"

Of course the Jws do not want the public to know that this is a jw pedophile so they are glad, this time, the article states "church"

I was saying it would be nice to correct this fact for them as the Jws do not seem to be able to make a post correcting "church" to " Kingdom Hall"

What is the vow of poverty

i was told by someone that in 2007 two members of the branch committee in greece were removed because they breached the vow of poverty.

the matter was over a small amount, in the range of a few hundred euro.

is there a copy of this vow available and how would this be applied here?

Wasn't there something in that vow that stated IF they made outside money they were to turn it over to the WTBTS.

It's hard to believe this but it seems that I had read that somewhere.
