  speaking of armageddon, you will be sad to hear that the criteria for surviving the great day of god's wrath just got a little more stringent.. there are a number of extra things in this month's awake!

  im an ex jw, out 3yrs after spending 24yrs of my life in the organisation.

  i spend most of my time on fb exposing the org and having conversations with active jws.

  i have recently agree to a 'bible study' with a woman, a grandmother, who is a regular pioneer and has only been a jw for 5yrs.

  at oral argument on august 13th, the court requested additional briefing from candace regarding the punitive damages being contested by watchtower.

  from the case law cited in the brief it is demonstrated that the award of punitive damages is on solid legal ground.

  although the court had until august 25 to render its decision as to whether the present judgment will be altered and watchtower granted a new trial, the court docket indicates that the court has entered an order already.

  So daily it would be .0002739726 ( if my math is correct)

  So 28,000,000 would generate 7,671.23 dollars day, I could be wrong.

  demon posession?

  my gradmother used to tell me about a catholic icon at her aunt's house which was demon possesed and once blinked at her.

  My foster brother's mother said the house she was living in was demonized. She said that she would be awakened from sleep by an invisible demon trying to have sex with her and shouted out "JEHOVAH!" ,,, and it stopped.

  Tell her that they were not invisable, she could not see them because she probably had a "bag on her head"

  the jws, catholics, mormons, and a handful of others say they are the "true church" or what jesus originally intended.

  i know jws call themselves the "true christians".

  by what authority - outside of the bible, since 41,000 denominations use the bible to back up their individual beliefs - can jws make this claim?

  I can't find the part where it says to "Hold thine own Rice hostage until ye see fit to share it with those brethern that hath just finished sitting thru thy sermon" I think it is under the heading "Rice Christians" but cannot put my fingert on it.

  how could there even be such a thing as perfection?

  i can't wrap my head around such a concept.. i remember as a kid the dubs trying to explain their original sin doctrine as follows with one of their inane "illustrations":.

  adam/eve born perfect in every way.

  "Even so-called "perfect" DNA would still be degraded by natural radiation."

  And they will say, Jah would have kept it clean while they were in good standing, OR when the water "can o pee" fell the radiation increaed, before that they would have been safe.

  in case you missed it --this years dc pointed out that jw's need to direct people to (direct quote) "our spiritual mother the organization" !!!.

  jehovah being our father and the organization being our spiritual mother!

  i guess we all knew that the society was always "mother" huh..

  It's always that last inch that counts, forget the 99 yards, 2 ft 11 inches that I been giving you, you always want another inch!!

  Dude, your "team", "dropped the ball" countless times over the last 130 years and have not noticed that everyone in the stands are pointing their fingers at you and laughing their arses off while your "team" run from sideline to sideline making 0 progress. The only people chearing for you are your very own "Cheerleeders" and their not that H-O-T anymore.
