I went a little NUTS!

did you go a little nuts as you were waking up and making your exit?

i had a few of the symptoms listed in hassan's, combatting cult mind control.

i couldn't pull my thoughts together.

I think it is true, just coming to the realization that we were duped by a cult can make you look a little bonkers for a bit.

Some radical thoughts, saying things to current JWs that make you look a little bit, well, crazy from our point of view is very understandable, from theirs we look a bit crazy just like the WTBTS says we will.

When talking to some Elders who wound up at my door a few months ago I was supposed to say " I'm depressed, blah blah blah," Had it planned out and all and then when they said certain things I was not able to hold back and while maintaining my composure I did kinda let them know that I did not agree with them.

I'm sure to THEM I looked and acted a little bit weird saying the things that I said.

So yes, I think that going a bit nuts is almost mandatory to get it all out.

And according to the NEw Shepherd the Flock I think that you can even appeal it a 2nd time. I know that there is a statement about appealing again and the book says not to mention this option to the alleged sinner.

I'm running out the door now or would look it up.

Can you list watchtower articles that claim anything from the 'faithful slave' should be taken as from jehovah himself?

just a few wts that put to the effect anything from them should be taken as from jehovah himself and also with elders or being disfellowshipped, that it means jehovah himself is angry with them, that's it's punishment from him.

The Governing Body has NEVER claimed to be inspired

there was a recent thread here which covered the subject of the gb claiming to be spirit directed (and not actually inspired by the holy spirit).

by now, most of us are quite aware that this is just a play with words to excuse themselves whenever one of their false doctrines is debunked (by someone using the bible or their own publications).

but when you think of it, spirit-directed is actually more presumptuous than spirit-inspired.. that being said, id really like to draw attention to the fact that the wt continuously claims that the governing body of jehovahs witnesses has never claimed to be inspired by god (through his holy spirit).

I know that this is a long shot and I do not know if the dates coincide but could that person that was covered up be Olin Moyle?

I thought maybe so but then remembered that his wife was there at Bethel also and that would mean both would be edited out, right?
