  should this be the title of the new book, for this years district convention?.

  "there are billions of people who do not know jehovah.

  many of them in ignorance practice things that god's word shows to be wicked.

  it seems as though so many of the stories of people who are now mentally free that i read on here involved reading jwfacts.com at some point along the way.. he basically saved my sanity (questionable, i know!

  ), and was never as sensational and garish as other sites which immediately scared me away.

  why not take a minute out of your day to say thanks for any difference that jwfacts made to your life, and tell us what it was that helped you?...

  It is the go to site for Jws desiring to wake up from the nightmare produced by the WTBTs.

  Paul,... Please tell me you are backing this site up at more than one location.

  Rumor has it that the GB hit themselves in the head with a bullpen hammer every time Paul adds new info to his site.

  Thank you Paul,.. Thank you for helping clear my mind that allowed me to set myself, wife and children free from this enslavement.

  Just need to know

  have not been as regular on this site, as i was years ago.

  so i need to know, which posters here are playing the characters of ones who either claim they speak to god, are god, speak to an angel, hears god's voice in their head, are a prophet or any other numerous form of that character.

  some times those folks come up and bite me when i forget those sort of characters in the play are here.

  if i remember correctly there were more than 100 million books distributed around the world in the the 1960`s.. and if i remember correctly it was listed amongst the ten most distributed/published books by the guiness book of records .. and if i`m not mistaken "paradise lost to paradise regained" was also on this list.

  and even in one year about that time their were no less than four of the societys publications on the 10 most distributed books ever.

  at that time.. how much of what was printed in those publications then, is relevant to what is beleived today.

  Another interesting fact (term used very loosly) about "The Truth book".

  1. It has taken up more room in landfills than any other book known to man.

  2. It's printing alone has caused more damage to man, let alone the Rain forest.

  3. The fuel used to distribute this book has caused more damage to the Ozone Layer than any other book.

  4. Please feel free to add other instance where this book has caused damage to man,...

  need help

  first post, been lurking for a bit.

  i have been seeing problems in the org for a couple of years now and could not come up with any answers.

  recently i researched the topics of mediator and new covenant and thats when the sh8t hit the fan.

  Desirousofchange is right in my opinion.

  Memorize this line: "I know this is Jehovah's Organization, and I just accept the fact that there may be some things we have to wait on to understand completely. But I'm sure He will provide everything we need when "New Scrolls" are opened in the future. I appreciate your loving concern, but you brothers have totally over-reacted. I really thought you knew me better and had more confidence in me."

  Don't worry about the blood issue with your kids as the Courts will issue a Court Order if it becomes necessary for an ill or injured child.

  If your concern is for your children, the being close by them in case of a need for a blood transfusion would be the wisest choice, This more than likely will never happen, but if it did, this would be the time to make a stand. If she was awarded full custody, you may not even be aware of this need until it was too late.

  Again, recant, and chant the "wait on Jehovah" until the zombies settle down a bit. Read up on Steven Hassans books, Combatting Cult Mind control and Freedom of mind as you need to learn what and when to say if anything at all.

  There is nothing wrong with teaching your children how to think critically. See youtube videos on this if not familiar. Depending on the kids ages, you can use a proxy for their religion such as any major investment or decision that should be researched prior to a commitment. If smart and you word it correctly, they will understand that ANY MAJOR decision (including a beleif system) should be processed through "critical thinking" to make a wise decision. I know that this is down the road, but being right there with the kids is the most important thing at this time. You need to become an actor for a bit until these things settle down.

  Hope all works out.

  Also, if she moves out, makes you move out, and it looks like divorce you need to look online for some publications that the WTBTS has provided to JW parents that teach the kids to lie on the Stand to make them seem more main streamed. This would work well for you, if it goes there, when it comes to a reason that the kids should not be left to the wife due to the religion. I'm not sure of the name but feel that others here may be able to help with that.

  help! need some articles

  i am looking for wt articles that would be on the wt cd, that talk about other religions using "new light" and its in invalid excuse, i have two the feb 2013 wt about the mormon and the 70s awake on catholics and eating meat on fridays, is there any more??

  and i also need the wt that says something along the lines of: the only way to come to a correct understanding is to view evidence on both sides of an issue.

  he attended the memorial and reported back to me what i thought was encouraging.

  How do I as a future "Therapist" help ex-jws that won't move on from the WT?

  i am halfway through my master's program in psychology/sociology and plan on being a therapist/sounselor.

  i left jw's in 1988 and i have never looked back.

  i enjoy my life so much after getting my aa degree, then my ba degree, and now i will soon get my ma degree.

  I think that possibly most of us as Jws, and now Ex Jws are caring people. As Jws we percieved people as needing help, we did what we thought was best at the time with the information we had.

  Possibly the same thing now, we spend time helping lurkers take that step into reality and into real life, what's left of it anyways.

  If I leveridge my time into helping others, and they do the same, more and more people will have an easier time waking up and getting out as they will see that their are masses of people that are here and are caring for them.

  I value human life as I feel that this is the only life we will ever experience. Whether it was me or another person entrapped by the WTBTS I feel a burning pain to do what I can to help them out of that mess. To recognize this and to just walk away from those in need, to me is tantamount to what Danmerdinglebum said about the burning building and not helping people get out. Imagine getting out of quicksand and then turning around and seeing others still struggling to get out and just walking away and saying " Am I glad I got out of that mess, keep up the struggle guys, some of you might make it, see yah if you do"

  Also I actually get a feeling of relief when I see a new person posting for the first time as I know another life has been released from the prison.
